Confidence

Congratulations to the Redskins for pulling this one off. There is nothing like an unlikely come from behind victory over the hated enemy to build confidence. This game was huge. Confidence can be the difference between a 5-11 season and an 11-5 season.

Congratulations to Mark Brunell, who finally got the monkey off his back. He made the deep throws when he had to and proved the naysayers wrong.

Congratulations to Coach Gibbs, who finally got the monkey off his back. He showed that he saw something in Brunell that the rest of us could not see, and he proved the naysayers wrong. Could Ramsey have led a comeback? Sure. But Coach said that at this point Brunell gives us the best chance to win, and we won -- thanks to Brunell.

Congratulations to the offensive line, who overcame a lot of mistakes (too many sacks and penalties) and managed to pull out a victory at the end.

Congratulations to the defense, who had another solid outing and made the critical stops when we really needed them.

Who should the game ball go to?

(1) Mark Brunell, for making the big throws.
(2) Santana Moss, for catching the big throws.
(3) Nick Novak, for making the critical tackle that saved the game?
(4) Bill Parcells, for calling pass plays rather than running out the clock when he had the chance?

Hail to the Redskins!

All of them deserve a game ball ... especially Brunell after what he's endured (and I've also hurled my share at him) in the past weeks.

Congrats to all. I'm so happy we beat Dallas finally.

Santana Moss. No question about it.

There is still A LOT of work to do. I do not believe that the performance today settles all issues, not at all. But let us enjoy it today! :celebrate:
