yes it is... totally inept. no flow to the offense at all... penalties are everywhere and the line can't open up a bag of bread for portis.

EXACTLY. We suck and it shows...at least we'll get another high draft pick we can't afford.

Do we really think Moss and Patten would've signed if they knew Brunell would be the QB? Something tells me they thought somebody with an arm would be the QB.

it'll be at least 2-3 years before we can expect campbell to be ready and that's IF he's any good. hopefully by then though gibb's will have respectfully stepped aside.

Is there any rights we as fans have...this is ridiculous to watch....

Horrible, are we even trying to score?

I still cannot fathom how Gibbs could have bungled the QB situation so badly. By pulling Ramsey so quickly he didn't even give himself the option of going back to him without losing face.

It's absolutely flabbergasting how poorly Brunell is playing. Any talk about him getting his arm strength back is complete and utter nonsense.

His outs still float, his long balls are short and have way too much air under them and I still don't see any zip on his intermediate passes.

Deja vue.

actually, we traded our 1st rounder next year to get campbell. so by being bad we are only rewarding denver.

I kept hearing that Brunell had regained his armn strength. I guess all he through in practice was 5 yard passes because anytime he throws deep it has nothing on it just a floater that is short. I hate watching the same team last year. win or lose this does not look promising for the year. Yes I hope we can win tonight, but damn I do not see this offence getting us very far.

dude.. it's been the same team the last 14 years... no QB and no offensive production

85 yds of total offense, longest pass 18 yds, second longest 8. Big play offense my ass. This makes me sick! Portis is being completely misused as well. If Brunell didn't keep tripping over his own feet at least we'd be tied.

What the heck is going on here.. I mean I can't believe all the negativity going on.. I mean yeah It doesn't look pretty, but man have some faith.. The Redskins will pull it out..Yes for me and my father is frustrating, but trust Gibbs.. He didn't just all the sudden forget football.. Keep ya head and stay positive.. Let me finish with this I'm a die hard Golden State Warriors fan and we haven't made the playoffs in 15 yrs, we have not even been competitve until the end of last year.. We were the laughing stock in the NBA. But it may be frustrating, but I will never give up on the Warriors... As long as Gibbs is on board you gotta trust good ole Gibbs...

I appreciate your enthusiasm but it's going to get worse before it gets better. Brunell is the same stinkin' QB he's been last season. I have seen absolutely NOTHING to suggest otherwise.

You guys better watch out, the Gibbs is god and infalable contigent around here is going to go on the attack. How dare you be disappointed in a team that breaks your heart.
And I don't want to hear a bunch of "band wagon blah blah blah". Alot of us have been fans for many years (23 years for me)
Let's face it, Gibbs makes mistakes like any other human.
Having said that, let's root for our team and not boo Brunel or Ramsey when they're back home.

I've been saying this for a week and getting buried by everyone on the board. The qb situation couldn't have been handled worse by Gibbs. Another of the many bad decisions he's made since he's been back as coach.

You could see it coming all week, we are one dimensional with no arm at qb

When the offense cannot move the ball, the penalties are really killing us.

The defense is playing reasonably well, but is not coming up with any big plays. Where are our playmakers? We need big plays to get some momentum.

Apart from the lack of big plays, the front four are not getting any pressure on the QB.

Brunell is having a great game -- believe it or not, he's has more than 100 yards! Unfortunately, it's all piecemeal, with no sustained drives.

BTW our o-line is garbage. I can't even count the penalties but five sacks and Brunell's been hit four more times. If Ramsey would have played he would have been knocked out for the season already. Those five guys have to pull their thumbs out.
