Bush scores in Korea!

President Bush has apparently compromised on several past hard-line positions and reached an agreement with North Korea. North Korea has agreed to halt its weapons program. I'm not a Bush supporter. as many of you know, but I think its important to support the president on this when the hard core hawks come looking for his scalp. All the details are not in yet, but this appears to be a great move.
For me, Bush has now scored twice in a very short time. One, he took full responsibility for the New Orleans fiasco, and two, he's now apparently disarmed North Korea.
Maybe it's too soon to think the guy's turned a corner, but I'm hopeful.

Why don't you ever keep Bush topics in one thread?

That is good news.

I'm not saying I agree with this idea, I've just heard people talk about it, but the idea of the U.S. leading by example and disarming.

Just wondering what you all think.

What about the other 50? No one cares about Bush that much. It's a Skins board.

You know, it's sad; because when I read that article yesterday about N. Korea agreeing to disarm, I could not take it with a grain of salt. What, are we going to hold them to their word?

Well, sure enough, it's looking more and more like nothing but a veiled attempt to get everyone off their backs. Check out this nugget...

SEOUL, South Korea - North Korea insisted Tuesday it won't dismantle its nuclear weapons program until the U.S. gives it civilian nuclear reactors, casting doubt on a disarmament agreement reached a day earlier during international talks.

North Korea Demands Nuke Reactor From U.S.

That's some good negotiatin' right there boys!

The lounge is supposedly set aside for subjects other than football, such as politics. Further, to think that an area permitting political discussioning should be limited to one thread concerning the central political figure of our time is distinctly odd. Would you care to explain your postions in greater detail so that I can discover their rationale?

I know you like talking politics and don't care to ruffle a few feathers.

But do you really need to keep making so many new topics on the SAME person?

Is it possible for you to put them all in one thread and have a continuing discussion and then post your new thoughts and ideas in it so the Lounge isn't cluttered with Bush threads with you and other people bantering back and forth?

To add to Jake's point, whenever you make a new post in any thread it bumps up to the top of the list.

Ok. Will comply.

Thank you. It's just as simple as finding a Bush thread already made and just contribute to it instead of making a new one.
