In my book, Ramsey only had one fumble

Ramsey was intercepted once Sunday by the Chicago Bears and, according to another offensive starter who requested anonymity, that interception -- on Ramsey's second pass of the game -- occurred when a receiver ran the wrong route, adding to Ramsey's frustration about the decision.

Well lets see then. If that is true, then the INT wasn't his fault. Also, as I said from day one the fumble when the guy close lined him doesn't count either. If in that situation I would be happy to hold onto my head let alone the football. Sorry I am taking it worse then Ramsey, this pill ain’t that easy to swallow.

Alright, well stop creating 50 different threads (not speaking to you directly) on the same subject and I'll stop my urge to get over it.

Seriously die cowboys die, what control do any of us have over this? NONE and Gibbs is the coach he sees and knows things we do NOT. So why dwell on this? Why make Cowboys fans and fans around the league think the Redskins faithful are freaking out over this when honestly it's not much to freak out over. It's a QB change. We didn't decide to go without one.

i disagree. i think we should start using a new thread for each word of each post on the subject. example:

THREAD 1: Ramsey's
THREAD 2: turnovers
THREAD 3: were
THREAD 4: not
THREAD 5: all
THREAD 6: his
THREAD 7: fault

or we could go letter by letter...

THREAD 1: R
THREAD 2: a
THREAD 3: m
THREAD 4: s
THREAD 5: e
THREAD 6: y
THREAD 7: '
THREAD 8: s
(etc)

i think we should. we should just line up our defense on offense! let lavar arrington be the lead blocker for sean taylor at RB, and do nothing but power running.

:D

Wow...Someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed. Here is an idea. If you don't like what is being posted...DON'T READ IT!

If you read my previous post I support Gibbs 100% but when I see something that in my mind is blatantly wrong I am not going to just sit and be happy about. Nothing we do can make any difference. No one is looking and these posts to see if the redskins faithful are freaking out. This board is to share thoughts, information, and rumors. I am allowed to vent just as much as anyone else. I am allowed to not be happy going against our worst enemy on primetime Monday night football and in my opinion we are using a weaker quarterback. I came across that quote and I posted it because so many that were against Ramsey said in 3 set of downs he had 1 INT and 2 fumbles and in my mind that is BS. Say you just prefer Brunell lets not use bogus reasons for your opinion. Period. Ok, I am done and I am going to take my Prozac now.

See I can totally respect not agreeing I think the issue here is seeing it 10 million times in 10 million different threads is making all of us crazy (or in die cowboys die and 1974's case crazier). So can we please just focus on Dallas and stop all the nonsesne?

I was just making a general comment that there are already multiple threads on the topic so why not search around and post Ramsey related info in one of the already created threads? If you were countering someone's argument, why not counter it in the thread where you read that information?

I don't prefer Brunnell, nor do I think Ramsey has been the answer. Am I disappointed that he was yanked quickly? Yes... Is there anything we can do about it now? No... It's Dallas week and that's all I care about is going down there and getting a W, whoever is leading our team down the field.

I think that if this wer'nt Dallas week we all wouldnt be freaking out so much. WE all want a WIN so bad that we are just scared and nervous. I will be watching alone. My wife and friends wont be there. Its just too much for other people to be around. This one has emotional ties.

I hope the team isn't as worried about this as a lot of people are or we have NO CHANCE!

I think we should start a thread for everyone that wants to ... (complain) about multiple threads on the same subject.
That being said even I think that there have be far too many post on the same subject and I still don't understand the reason behind the rule, but it is a rule!
I am tired of the Brunell/Ramsey stuff. The choice has been made by a HOF coach. I still think he is wrong, but I really hope that I am wrong.
I don't care if we go with Taylor at QB as long as we beat Dallas! He might not do worse than (fill in your QB of choice)!

Ramsey isn't consistant, that's all I got.

Curiously

I think its funny that after each pre-season game there was more and more anti-Ramsey sentiment by the commentators (Bostic, Theismann, D. Green, Sonny etc.) Sunday before the Bears game on the Coach Gibbs show, G. Michaels and Sonny asked Joe what he thought about the loud clamoring from fans and media to go with Brunell over Ramsey. Gibbs brushed it off in his usual non-chalant style. Now when Gibbs benches Ramsey to go with Brunell who is OBVIOUSLY playing much better than Ramsey AND much better than last year, fans and media do a complete 180. I wonder, how many people on this discussion board can openly admit, that maybe Gibbs not only knows more than YOU do about HIS QB's but that he also has a lot more information to base his decision on. This is the biggest difference since Gibbs was coach the first go round. Fans and media are all experts now that LOUDLY proclaim every decsion as wrong. I hope Gibbs learns to COMPLETELY IGNORE ALL OF US!!!

What did you see that suggest Brunell looks better? He looked exactly like last year! 70 yards!!!

The issue is not that Gibbs took Ramsey out. He is the coach...as I said in a previous post..he can plan Donald Duck if he can help us win.

The issue is...I have yet hear an explenation for why Gibbs took Ramsey out after one quarter that makes sene. He did not give Ramsey a fair chance and that it not like him.

Scenario: He does not trust Ramsey and thinks that Brunell is more likely to make us win. Then why didn't he start Brunell in the first place. Why did he spend the entire off season repeating that Ramsey is the starter? He must not think much of Brunell or he would have started him?

Ramsey turned the ball over a couple times: From what I heard...Gibbs did not say "I took Ramsey out because he turned the ball over. I need to enforce that is the wrong thing to do". Instead he said that Brunell gives us a better chance of winning....why did he wait until the 1st quarter to switch to Brunell then. It just does not make sense. He started Ramsey because he wanted to give him a chance and then he did not give him a chance.

I am a huge Gibbs fan...huge skins fan....looking forward to the game. Just does not make sense! I am nervous that the team is going through the same thing that we are and that they are distracted. If the girls beat us badly....then not only will starting Brunell be further questioned, but people will wonder why Gibbs did something so disruptive to the team on a Monday/Cowboys week.
