Someone enlighten me on our plan at the wr position. Moss, Patten, Thrash, and Jacobs. That's it. Four receivers going in to Monday's game. Moss has already had cramp issues and Jacobs can't be in shape. One injury would seriously limit the offensive packages we could put on the field, whereas two injuries would absolutely cripple us. To have any hope of getting the run game going we must be able to stretch the field., or at least spread it out with multiple receiver formations. Are we not a bit handcuffed right now? Surely by weeks end we make a roster move and bring in a receiver. Brown, Dyson, Farris? Thoughts? Please don't say

ey will pick up the slack, I'm talking receiver. Could Sean Taylor be a legitimate option or merely a decoy? Please don't say we'll never be a downfield threat with Brunell, we have to assume he will get the job done. I'm asking about the receivers.

Sean Taylor will be used also in special packages. Shawn Springs said he may be used as a receiver if needed. He said he knows some plays.

Ade Jimoh... he watches receivers catch the ball everytime he gets in the game, so he's got to know how it's done by now...

Trade Ramsey for one! As strange as it sounds I feel that the team will have to start thinking about what we can get for him, and a starting receiver would be an option. Arizonia might be a good trade partner.

Well, Gibbs suprised us all by pulling a rabbit our of his hat (S. Taylor at WR) as far as our big, red zone receiver is concerned. Something tells me that he has a plan in place for the WR corps, too.

If we don't keep our new kicker around once Hall is back on his feet then I believe we'll see Dyson back in Burgandy and Gold. We're lacking a big possession receiver for crossing patterns and I think Dyson could serve that role. Then again Joe Gibbs intimated that he still thinks highly of Antonio Brown and may bring him back at some point.

I heard (from unnamed sauces) that Ramsey has decided that he will make himself available as a WR! This way he can let whoever is covering him, get an interception, and, in making Brunell look bad, get his job back.
Joe Gibbs refused to answer any questions on this delicate matter and banished the reporter forever as a suspected spy from a Martha Stewart cookbook!!

The word in Washington is that the Skins aren't worried about wide receivers because Brunell can't get the ball to them anyway. Gibbs plans to start three, maybe four tight ends, depending on whether or not

ey can cut his speed.
Another possible strategy, but not a likely one, is to let Moss play if he promises to count to five, after each hike, before taking off.

I understand that for the seven step drop there was a problem with the counting during the transfer from one hand to the other!

Amen to that
But Sean Taylor better actually see a pass, I would bet 10$ he would catch it, no matter what.

Well that would be great cause if Mark throws a pick, Sean & Shawn can put the big hit on a DB.
