Do you think the recent QB change gives us a better chance against the Cowboys?

Okay, I said "degrease" instead of "decrease". Get over it and answer the question. (I'm afraid to edit my post because if I did, I think the poll will go away.)

Last year I think Ramsey played better against the Cows than Brunell did.

Increase.
I voted increase because Brunell is better in the pocket than Ramsey.
I kno Brunell had issues with his arm last season, he seemd halfway decent during the preseason. However, Ramsey has been unthrowing a lot anyway so his advantage isn't really there right now.

I voted that it won't change anything because I don't give you a good chance either way, but I do think that Ramsey has the physical tools and mentality to better exploit the weaknesses in Dallas' pass defense better than Brunell does.
A majority of SD's yards and both TD's came by exploiting FS Keith Davis (although some of the blame on one could go to Ware also). Brunell's never really had an appetite for seam routes or throwing intermediate routes in the middle third.
Dallas also doesn't have the quality blitzing (other than Ware and Williams, occasionally) that seemed to confuse Ramsey.
I guess which one gives you a better chance depends on how you feel your defense does. Hold Dallas to 10 points or less and Brunell's your guy, need to put up 21 to win the game and Ramsey gives you the best chance.

This will be Gibbs "Flip Em" off game. You don't get many from the God-fearing coach we all love but this is it.
Brunell will be the icing on the cake.
Things that Gibbs has every right to "flip em" off for
(I mean after only one year the press was saying...)
The league has passed J.Gibbs by....
Gibbs has revamped the offense and will be facing a defense in transition from 4-3 to 3-4
Clinton Portis isn't the type of back to fit Gibbs scheme...
Portis bulked up because he brought into what Gibbs wants to do. Stats mean nothing this time of year but he's on pace for a 1900 yard+ season
If he didn't fit... who hear thinks Mr. Portis would bite his tongue?
Coles and Gardner are proof "the Danny" needs to hire a GM
Well 50/80 is doing the same thing for Carolina during the Regular season that he did for us during the off-season (nothing)
My boy B'd & moaned about a 10.6 ypc average last year until he got traded nowing he's blowing it up in the Big Apple averaging 11 whole yards a catch (that's a huge average ask our Starting TE/HB -

ey Avg ypc 11.2 Royal 11.0)
Brunell was a big mistake (another jab at the need for a GM)
I'm not going to debate what Mark did last year versus the preseason. He always looked comfortable and in command of the offense. With a bad hammy he was more mobile that Patrick. He makes very few game changing mistakes. Saying teams will just stack the box with Brunell in there isn't true either. Last wek the Bears tried to stack the box against Ramsey forcing him to throw the ball with some success, when Brunell entered the game the run game opened up. For a player that's been in the league for over ten years right now Brunell is a unknown.
We haven't dominated that team in Texas since Joe left. The big flip off is Monday day.
You think Gibbs calling their fan ugly wait til you see what he does to the that team

I voted he will decrease our chances of winning...
So now we'll only win by 53

the pukes fan has a point...
did I just say that?
EDIT: I disagree with the part about us not having a chance to win though, to be clear

Gibbs obviously sees something in Brunell that all the nay sayers and doubters don't...what that is, I have no idea.
REMEMBER : no other coach with 3 Super Bowls rings has gone through as many different quarterbacks as my man Gibbs has.

We still have a shot to beat the boys. But not having anything to do with Brunell. Portis has to carry the load and our D needs to make the boys pay with points going the other way. Safties, INT returns, blocked punts, blocked kicks and a bunch of fumble recoveries... whatever it takes.
I hope Brunell proves me wrong. I'll post the Eating Crow Thread first thing Tuesday.

I'd say we have about a 50% chance of winning.
