I feel so sorry for Gibbs. No matter who he starts the fans will not be happy. Last year we wanted Ramsey, this year people want Brunnell.

I think deep down Gibbs wants Brunnell to be our leader. He used a very complimentary word when describing him in the press conference. He referred to him as "flawless" when describing how he doesn't make mistakes. I don't know if I would go that far, but I am happy as long as the QB is not hurting us.

I really like Ramsey, but he did throw a pick, and fumble twice in one half. Luckily Jansen covered the first fumble.

To be honest guys, the "leader" of this team is the defense. All we really need is solid play from under center to win ball games. We only gave up 166 total yards today. Although Ramsey may end up being a great QB, it doesn't mean anything to us as long as he is giving the other team opportunities. I want to see him do well.

He should start over Brunell if he is 85% healthy or more. You can't have Brunell start and Ramsey sit this early in the season. Let's say he says Brunell starts. Does good for a few games and gets hurt, or does bad for a feww games; then you gonna ask Ramsey to come back in and save the season after pulling him in week one!! Dumb move if he switches starters this early, it's all about continuity, and we'll never have any at qb if we go in this direction.

I think right now Brunell gives us the best chance to win, so I went with him. We also drafted Campbell so I do not see why we need to play Ramsey if Brunell gives us a better chance to win. I also understand that a lot of people think Ramsey is better, but I do not.

I feel really bad for Ramsey. Hope he has a succesfull career but I do not think it will be here.

Ramsey better start. He has speed with Moss and Patten and a jump ball WR in Sean Taylor.

To make the playoffs we really do need a real offense, not simply a mistake-free offense. Ramsey has the chops, and I just don't see Brunell doing this. The question is whether Ramsey stays solid on his decision making.

Nothing today convinced me that Brunell is the better QB.

I will never understand the massive support Ramsey gets from Redskin fans. I don't know if it's homerism or personally knowing him, but it has been clear to me for three years that Ramsey will not be successful here. If Ramsey starts Monday against Dallas, we will lose. If Brunell starts, we will have a chance. IMO, it is painfully obvious who should start at QB.

Brandon77 just take a look at the numbers, Brunell
70 yards in almost 3 quarters, Ramsey more than a 100 in a little more than a quarter, Brunell did't do ANYTHING to prove he should be the starting QB, 70 yards is a joke, if Brunell starts look for the exactly same thing as last year, the odds will be if he can throw for more than 100 yards, something Ramsey did in one quarter.

this is ridiculous. it would be one thing if brunell entered the game and threw for a couple of tds and broke the game open.
but he came in and nothing happened. the offense still stunk.
I think Gibbs knows better than to yank Ramsey just for getting hurt. One INT isn't a big deal, and he rebounded fine.
he had 105 on 6 completions. the only thing that improved with brunell in there was the running game, and i'm not sure what he could have had to do with that.

If Ramsey is 100%, then he definitely does and should start next week.

If I remember correctly, when Brunell came in we had three straight scoring drives. Ramsey is too inconsistent.

If I remember correctly, Ramsey was just about to score a touchdown when he got throttled and the refs decided it was ok, since it was against a Redskin player. Not to mention it took the ball away from us.

If he's completely healthy. He should not mess with a sprained neck.

He should start if he is 80%. Brunell can not not move the chains.

Ramsey should play if he's 100% and has a good week of practice - he'll have an extra day to recover...I'm on record about Ramsey - recognizing he has a pro arm, but that's about it, and hoping he'll learn how to play - but it's not happening. Next week will be his last chance, if he stinks it up against the Boys in the first half Joe will make the change to Brunell, citing lingering problems with Ramsey's neck. That said, I hope I'm wrong and Ramsey leads us to victory - nothing less will be accepted...

I think Brunell should start. I want to root for a team that finishes 6 and 10 two years in a row and has to acheive that by bringing in a guy from the bench. Further, if it hadn't been for Brunell's great handoffs, Portis would have sucked. And, it wasn't really Brunell who threw that floater into double coverage that could have cost us the game if the interception hadn't been called back. It was Ramsey in Brunell's jersey.
Damn that Cooley. If only he'd stayed on the goal line and caught the ball with his extended wong when Brunell cleverly threw it to the dirt on the one yard line on 3rd and goal, our man would have had a TD toss.

And arm strength. Man, did you see the way Brunell bounced his opening toss all the way to the sidelines. 70 yards in three quarters! Man, he hasn't lost a thing from last year. I loved the way he tripped himself up and went down on his butt, spoiling that crucial drive. What entertainment for my masochistic self. The guy is flawless.

If he's completely healthy Ramsey should start. He must cut-out the turnovers, and come out ready to play. Instead he seems to start the game timid and out of sync until he throws a pick, then he settles down. He has to settled down before throwing the intreception.

Brunell is moblie and accurate but he doesn't throw the ball down the field. He doesn't make mistakes either.

Do we want a QB that gets it downfield and have it picked off every 4th or 5th shot. Or do we want a serviceable and won't throw away the game. It sounds like we need a combination of the two.

Jason Campbell isn't ready but he seems built for this offense, we just have to get through this season.

I'll go with Ramsey for now...
