This sure is another great idea by Tagliabue, just like playing over an Japan, Mexico City, etc. How is playing in New York better for the Saints than playing at LSU or at the Alamo Dome in San Antonio??? Nice call commish...

Yeah, and the Saints get 0!

You can pretty much kiss their season goodbye.

That's not fair. I say let them play it in a (not-so) neutral site.

Move the game to Fed Ex. I bet you hear some cheer for the saints then.

The Commish has bungled another one. It's outrageous that he effectively gives the Giants not only 9 home games, but takes away any home field "advantage" that the Saints are entitled to. Is it just me, or is this outrageous?

This is ridiculous. But what are the reasons behind this.
This is what I thought might be the reasons.

1. They want to make the decision early. Instead of seeing what opens up...they just go ahead and book it at Giants stadium.

2. Money... They know they can draw a crowd at Giants stadium...but it could be iffy at a neutral site.

Why would the Saints owner agree to this BS?

This is a terrible decision.

I know its easy to say "What else could they do?" but pretty much ANYTHING would be better for the league and more fair to the Saints.

Ok to add to the horrible crap the NFL is pulling check this out regarding tickets to the event!

Saints season ticket holders and others who had already bought tickets for the game originally scheduled for the storm-damaged Louisiana Superdome on Sept. 18 will be able to buy tickets for the rescheduled game beginning Sept. 8, the Giants said.

Now if I were a Saints season ticket holder I'd be highly pissed! You've already bought tickets for the season and now you have to rebuy them????? What the heck? Here's the link to the article.

right when this decision came down i thought the saints coaches, management, and players should have flatly said "no". as in, "the game will not be at giants stadium, or there will be no game". so it's incredibly preposterous it's beyond belief. they shouldn't've let them get away with this ludicrous decision.
