Anyone catch the Lions/Rams MNF game?

God, the Lions looked terrible. I love how some people are telling me that they will dominate this year what with all their first-rounder wide receivers and all....doesn't look pretty for them right now.

On the other hand, the Rams looked pretty good. Our defense should be able to hold their score down better than that when we play them later in the season...

Yea, the Rams Offense looked really clean, I wish lady arm Ramsey can hit recievers even like St. Louie's 2nd string QB. I want our passing game to look like theirs, rip up the zone defenses with our speedy WRs, We should give Peter Warrick a chance if he comes cheap.

Three fast WR's all with great hand, we can have a Rams like passing game.

I am of the opinion that the rams only looked good because Detroit looked so bad. They were so lethargic, they didn't even seem like they wanted to be there.

Agree, I forgot how bad the Lions played.
All I saw was long completion after another, it was fun.

It looked like Bulger really had some zip on his passes, it was impressive. (except for the one INT)

Yeah, that's like what people are saying about the Cardinals too. "I mean, now they have JJ Arrington and Kurt Warner. Look for them in the Super Bowl."

I watched some of it last night and it was awful play by the Lions all around.Penalties, followed by even worse play.I know Ramsey still has alot to prove but our offense line and defense are playing well.I think it might be a bad year for the Lions.

What I'll never understand is how the Lions are picked by so many people to be a playoff contender and the Redskins aren't getting ANY credit nationally from anyone.

We beat the Lions last year, in their home stadium. We had the #1 defense in the NFC last year. Their defense was terrible as usual. We have a stud RB in Clinton Portis. They have a group of unproven prospects on offense. Our biggest problem is at QB. They have a QB who in my opinion is even worse than ours. And it goes without saying that we have a FAR better coaching staff than they do. I always thought Mooch underachieved in San Francisco and he has done nothing in Detroit in 2 seasons. Forget rebuilding. Joe Gibbs won the Super Bowl in his 2nd season.

In what way are the Lions better than the Redskins???
