More fun from my Acura forum!

So as most of you know I had knee surgery recently, so I still walk to and from work with a cane. I don't need it except for long walks anymore, but I'm still pretty unstable even with it.

So anyway, tonight I'm on my way home, and I make my way into the McPherson Sq. metro station. I have to stop at the ticket transfer thingy before getting on the down escalator to the train level. The transfer machine is directly to the left of the escalator. So I grab my ticket and hobble over to the escalator. I hear a train coming below. Usually I wait for the people to rush past me to dart down the escalator in hopes of catching the train, but today I didn't see anyone behind me. So as I step into the path of the escalator, this CHICK comes past me on the right, grabs my right shoulder (the arm holding the cane), and PUSHES me to the left!

Well it's my left knee that's injured, so when she pushed me to the left, I used my right arm for leverage so I wouldn't fall. I jerked my cane up horizontally and stabbed it to the right hard. She walked right into it, right at the top of the escalator.

I didn't mean to actually THROW her down the escalator. I swear I didn't MEAN to do it. I was just balancing myself! So she tumbles headlong over my cane and falls all the way down the escalator, butt first. She GETS UP at the bottom, turns around and flips me off and says, "You'll go to HELL for that!"

Before I could say anything, she leapt onto the train she'd been rushing to catch, the doors closed behind her, and she was gone.

I waited for the next train. Image

Seriously tho, who pushes a cripple?

Dang thats pretty funny! Well.....kind of funny. That kind of reminds of those people switching to the red line train. Their train is up the escalator and you need TO GET OUT OF THEIR WAY! They will run over anything and anyone to get on board. This one day there was a blind man walking with that walking stick they use. He was holding it out in front of him just minding his own buusiness. Then out of nowhere a train comes and three or four people just run RIGHT INTO HIM! I don't know how he kept his balance. He had this Oh Crud! look on his face. I thought about shouting something at those people, but before I knew it the doors closed and they were gone.

I know exactly what you are talking about when those idiots going for the red line puch everyone out of the way. If I was the blind man I would have beat them with my walking stick.
