we've probably all heard about antonio gates not reporting to camp in san diego. well, he is continuing to hold out, has missed the "deadline" SD gave him, and will be suspended for 3 games (the last 2 preseason and the regular season opener). guess who they play in Week 1? that's right. the lucky jerk pieces of crap d*llas c*wboys. so they will get to play the bolts without their biggest (only) receiving weapon. great! i'm sure when WE play SD later in the season, gates will be playing.
stupid lucky jerks.
die... cowboys... die.

I agree. I thnk it was a mistake for them to go to the 3-4. They don't have the pieces. They should be easy to run on this year.
The Ravens...as much as I hate them...made the right decision by going away from the 3-4. They too didn't have the kind of lineman they needed to run a 3-4.
Now lets look at this thread in December and see whether or not I know what I'm talking about!

Dallas is terrible. The Giants are a much better team, I watched them play the Panthers last night and I was very impressed. Their rookies were particularly impressive, I think they had a nice draft even without a first round pick. I think that Dallas will finish last in the East this year.

The Chargers are however free to take Gates off the suspended list whenever they want. He doesn't have to serve the full 3 games if the Chargers want him back. We'll see how it goes...

Dont forget they also get Caldwell back, who was doing really well until his injury. Also, McCardell is a very good receiver as well.

they said they will not take gates off the suspension list, and he will miss the remainder of the preseason and the regular season opener, even though he reported to camp--he miss their ultimatum, which is binding i guess.
