Jackson's Latest Practice

Well, for being one of only two 4-year olds on the team, Jackson is tearing it up.
Yesterday, he became the only player on the team to record a reception. He also had two runs for almost the entire length of the field.
The first, he started celebrating a bit to early (on the 1-yard line instead of in the endzone). He ended up scoring the touchdown a few plays later.
The second he thought he was in the clear and slowed down and was caught from behind. The next play he was quarterback for the winning score.
On defense, he continues to improve, making only one stop, but the stop was on the goal line on fourth down to set-up the scrimmage-winning touchdown.
I continue to be amazed at how quickly he is picking things up.
Go Eag.........I mean, Go Jackson's Team!!

You forgot that his run where he was caught, although not a touchdown, was definitely a first down. And he is the only wide receiver and or running back that can break away and doesn't turn back to see who is chasing him or turn around once he passes the other kids. He's just awesome. He is very flashy and trash talks but the coach condones it. Says that the other kids will do it so we shouldn't try to stop him. lol I have a feeling that not only does Jackson have a love for football he has a knack for playing.
Oh and on a side note, I am an idiot. I bought his cleats a size and half too big thinking by the season start he'd have grown that much. Well he's fallen down a few times because they are too big. lol I guess maybe we need to buy a smaller pair or we need to let him wear tennis shoes until he grows into them. OOPPS. lol

Don't let him talk too much trash - we don't want him turning into TO, lol.

I opened this thread thinking that Michael Jackson had a new paediatrics office.
... figured I'd be moving it to Smack.
Boy, what a surprise that the kid light years ahead of other kids in football knowledge is blowing them off the field too...
WHAT DID YOU EXPECT?
Gooooooooooooooooooooooo JP!
Not sure I want to try and get the flag judging from where it looks like he has it hidden in the above pic.
