Why do we keep this guy? Hes been here for about three years and he always gets burnt. Hopefully some of the rookies will beat him out. Does anybody think hes a talented corner?

I try to like Jimoh, I really do. But everytime I watch him play he gets burnt for TD's. I seriously don't understand why he manages to keep a roster spot over some other of our CB's. I'm guessing he's a great practice player and the coaches think it's only a matter of time before he shows talent in games?

CUT ADE JIMOH

I will refrain from excessive judgement until Monday when the rest of the nation gets to see the Redskins first full go action. However, through the articles in the newspaper (WashPost) and the website (redskins.com) it seems we are far from adequate and this is not acceptable
#1. To D.Snyder THE REDSKIN FANS DESERVE more than 4 corners buy us more... oh and make sure you get the kind that actually play.
#2. To J.Gibbs CUT ADE JIMOH, FIND A MIDDLE LINEBACKER (C.Clemons burned for Car second td)And that one t's me off because the last few years the Skins have let some good MLB's go...i.e. Marvcus Patten, Derek Smith, Jeremiah Trotter etc. Fix it, we can not defend the center of the field without quality play at the Middle linebacker! And somehow... someway... Lavar (Once a great warrior & did you see me at Penn State I was great but now I'm just a spectator and make Joe Paterno sigh with dissapointment) Arrington, & Carlos (a rookie sorely needed because we lost Smoot) Rogers and Shawn & Brandon (We're getting to old for this) Springs & Noble MUST CONTRIBUTE at their respective positions or we will simply be out manned.
On the positive side NEMO!!! That man looks like a Hoss. I think we may have discovered this years breakthrough player, kind of reminds me of Christian Okoye remember when they found that guy out of nowhere and then he just tore up the league, I like our depth at Fullback.
Jason Campbell is impressive for a rookie and I don't see why if RothlesBurger can do it why not this kid? Answer, a feeling heat from a rookie and even Boonell Patrick Ramsey. Then Boonell himself who, yes, ahem, might start for us again but does anyone think Mark Brunell will take us to the promised land?

I look forward to seeing the game in its entirety
even though I'm already dissapointed in our performance.
Luckily we open with the Chad Hutchinson Bears and have a couple more pre-season games. Gibbs and Co. can make it possible this season but the players need to make it happen, here we go baby PLAYOFFS a must this season or we do some major overhaulin.

Merged.

Can't believe you missed another Ade Jimoh thread from 40 minutes earlier.

Jimoh MUST GO! Like many of said already, i read time and again quotes of coaches praising the kid, but when does he ever back it up?

Hes out of control and i think room on the roster is better deserved to a younger corner we can use on special teams.

all i got to say is he is horrible, and needs to go. and i agree that we need to make some overhauling if we lose this year... (sarcastic). we have too much to overhaul the entire team. Do we need to go out and get some big name guys at our weaknesses? yes? however htose guys need to fit into our system. its all on this year thougn. And are u dissing chris clemons? The kid is young as *sh$t*, leave him alone, he could end up being great.

Ade Jimoh is on the team because he is good at Special Teams and everyone knows that Gibbs keeps good special teams players.

I agree. Ade should not play on defensive packages but he is great on special teams and thats why he is on the team. If you look at the tapes from last year he was always in on the tackle on special teams.

Yeah but who else can be used since most of our corners are injured right now.

I know he should never start or anything, but who do you think should replace him? This isn't a video game were you can just get the best guys at every position.

Not directed at you Cooley47. I've just been -drinking :D

Let's keep Jimoh. If anything, he distracts us from noticing the glaring weaknesses of our starting QB.

Seriously, though, Ade cannot/should not play corner right now, but he's a key part of our special teams unit.

Let's give Jimoh a pass on this first game. If it wasn't for 50/50's offensive P.I., he'd have never scored.

I just want him to stay on special teams, thats where he belongs and its the only way he can earn money in the NFL.

The problem is with the age and injury problems of the corners in front of Jimoh on the depth chart, he is likely to get some action either at nickel back or even as the starting corner.

Springs, Harris, and Wilds all have had injury problems consistently throughout their careers and all have been banged up early on during training camp.

Those are training camp injuries, they are normal. Its been a few months since they have been knocked on the ground on a constant basis.

I'm convinced Jimoh has somebody black mailed. Either that or he sneaks in every morning and we forget that we cut him.

This is serious. It was meant to be a secret. But now that it is out:

Ade has compromising pictures of Joe having a beer on Saturday.

I say we all call for Joe's resignation for indecent behaviour.

He won't be cut because he is a good special teams player. Doesn't mean I think he shouldn't be cut. But I don't think Gibbs will cut him.

Poor Ade. Everything else points to him being a really nice guy. Unfortunately that won't translate into making him a good CB. Anybody remember back when the Skins were the last team to have beaten the Patriots before they went on their long winning streak? Remember who caught the first TD pass for the Patriots in that game? It was David Patten. Remember who was covering him on that play that allowed them to start getting back into the game? That's right, it was Ade Jimoh.

He is the worst player on the team.

I've never understood how he manages to keep a roster spot.

Do you think Jimoh looks at fan sites and message boards? If he does, maybe he will realize how bad he is and retire.

His wife went on another Skins board (not ours) and asked the people to stop making fun of Ade so much.
