2 Tickets for Sale - 49ers game

My family will be at a wedding during the 49ers game on October 23rd. My dad has two tickets for sale in section 114, aisle seats... I think row 21. I normally sit in section 113 in my in-laws seats so I'll confirm the specifics shortly. I believe the face value is $79 a piece with parking (I think Green Lot).

I will only sell them to Redskins fans so don't plan to bring anyone but a fellow 'Skins fan. I know I don't have to state that with you all but stranger things have happened.

Sorry I don't have all the specifics at the moment but they are really good seats - Cattycorner to the endzone with the band, above where the opposing team runs out of the tunnel.

PM me if you have any interest and I will find out the specifics.

Thanks all!

It's approximately this view:

And you get to sit across the aisle from SkinsChic and myself.

Ok 1974, those tickets should sell any second now.

Actually - these are on the isle on the other side of our "normal" section near you guys - they are very close to Jake and SkinsChic but not right across. Just wanted to clarify!! I don't want to give anyone false delusions of gradeur! :-))

Oh, niki! Be nice to my Fed Ex Field neighbor! :-)

Ok folks, I think I have a taker on those tickets. If anything changes, I will let you all know.

Thanks for the interest! I wish I could give them away but they're my Dad's.

I'd like to remind you all that any time you have tickets that you can't sell, I would suggest that you donate them to the site. In fact, we welcome all ticket donations.

Why should you donate them to us?

Because we'll make sure they make it into the hands of someone who might not be so fortunate. We're not looking for the tickets, but our close relationship with the Hogettes allows us to do GOOD things with the tickets. We are trying to work on a program whereby we can take needy or sick kids to Redskin games... either from the Ronald McDonald House or from Children's Hospital. DEHog is also involved with a few charities and one that is very close to his heart is the Fisher House in D.C. This charity helps family members of the military that are staying in the Washington area because of a sick, diseased or injured loved one. Who better to take to a Redskin game and get their mind off things.

Regardless, we like to help when we can... a value instilled in us by the Hogettes who do everything for everybody. If the money isn't that important to you, give it some thought... we'll make sure that the gesture is received by someone who could really use it.

It's that time of year where I get bombarded with ticket requests and requests to sell tickets... just thought it bore mentioning.

I'M A TOTAL IDIOT...I JUST LOOKED AND SAW THAT YOU HAVE THAT SET UP ALREADY...ANYWAY...I LEFT MY ORIGINAL THOUGHTS INTACT BELOW FOR THE SAKE OF POSTERITY...MY BAD...

Boss...just a thought here...maybe you could come up w/a section just for posts of people trying to sell their tickets...maybe require a 'donation' of $10 or something to list them. As you can see...tix will sell w/in minutes and because of that, listing them here would certainly have value to someone looking to sell them. I've seen a poster or two pop up from time to time w/the sole purpose of just selling their tix...and that's not what the site is all about. Donating a couple of tickets is great if someone can afford it...but that might mean a loss of a couple of hundred bucks to someone and they might be unwilling to do that...so picking up a few bucks here and there might add up to enough to purchase a couple to tickets that could then be donated.

One other thing...in that section, you could probably set up a couple of affiliate sites....to ebay and other ticket sites etc that would pay a royalty to the site for steering traffic their way...again...you guys are the experts...just thinking out loud here.

To piggyback on this post, I've also seen ticket 'swap' areas on some sports sites. If fans can't attend a game they can arrange a swap with other fans, etc.

Just add a 25th hour to the day and I'll get right on all of that. :-)

During the preseason and regular season, there will be ticket broker links on the main page of the site, and likely where the Google Ads are on the message boards now. You can always buy tickets from them, and you are supporting the site every time you click on one of the links.

If a post-er signs up for the board solely for the purpose of selling a pair of tickets and posts without asking for permission from a moderator... 9 times out of 10 it will get dumped.

I don't want money for tickets... nor do i want to try and buy tickets by earning $5-10 a time... it isn't worth trying to track properly.

People come across tickets in many different ways.. some buy them, some win them, some get them in promotions... all we're saying is if you can't get rid of them... and can't recoup your money (I obviously understand that this is what most people will want to do)... then donate them to the site and we'll put them in the hands of someone not fortunate enough to be able to go to a game normally.

Last thing... we are dedicated to trying to keep Redskin tickets in the hands of Redskins fans. In fact, that's why we do most of the things the way that we do with tickets... if someone sins up for the board solely for the sake of selling tix but ASKS permission... we'll grant it 9 times out of 10 because we know that they'll get picked up likely and go into the hands of a Redskin fan. We WILL eventually have a ticket exchange section... somewhere to post both selling and buying requests... without a doubt... like I said, if you can find a way to get me another hour in a day, I might be able to slot it in before the season.

But we will get it done... eventually. We're not going anywhere.

Thanks for the feedback.

First of all it looked like Diesel was volunteering to me! lol Or maybe even 1974. Secondly I think Diesel was implying making the fee for posting go to charity. That way you'd be providing a service and making money for a worthy cause. ;-)

I'll definitely donate tickets if I have the opportunity. My dad wanted me to try to sell them first.

As the season gets closer I'll find out from my in-laws and my dad if there are any other games.
