I have been trying to find a message board with just DC sports. This one is for the redskins but is there one for the nats and wizards, the official ones on the website suck, i am willing to start one, but i would need someone to basically be the promoter, to get the site going, and i would just be a admin of the actual message board, but im not good at making the site popular and stuff, i dont know if anyone is interested or has already started this, or maybe there is a site out there that i dont know about.

If you build it, they will come.

This board runs on phpBB which is a good free forum script that is included with many cheap hosting plans. Unfortunately, I'm not aware of any free sites that will allow you to do the same.

There are quite a few guys around here that frequent a Nationals website. Natfanatics or something like that I think. And as far the official message board for the Wizards, Juan Dixon read theirs this season so it can't be all bad.

yea i might use invisionfree.com, there good for free boards, and the natfanatics board is pretty weak.

well the natafanatics site barely has a place to talk about the nats, and its pretty unactive from what i have seen.

- I'm a member of Natsfanatic. Add your voice, and watch it grow. By the way, I post there "disguised" as "welch".

- There is a very good Senators / Nats email list started by "Big Bruno", a long-time member of the Washington Baseball Historical Society. Google will lead to you his website, where (I think) you can sign up for the e-list. A very kowledgeable group.

Instead of being so concerned with running something of your own why not offer your volunteer time to the Natfanatics people in the way of help. I know from watching the amount of work the men around here do that the only thing that will ever make anything better is if you pitch in as opposed to complaining about what you don't like. Just my 2 cents.

It can't hurt to try. I think it's always better to group your efforts with other dedicated fans, rather than splitting things up. The worst that can happen is they say no thanks. One of the first things I did when I found this site was offer to help in any way I could. They did need my help (as of yet anyway ;)) but they seemed to appreciate the offer.

ok well he hasnt answered and he is using a phpbb board, and i prefer invision, so does anyone want to be the SITE admin of this site, and site promoter, so we can get it off the ground? you know possibly get a .com name, and get some stuff set up with that
