Baseball ?

Say Giambi hits a double, (he runs slow) so they pinch-run Womack, now A-Rod hits a HomeRun, Womack scores from 2nd. Who gets the run, Giambi (who got the hit & would've scored if he wasn't taken out) or Womack (who was the player to actually cross the plate)????

I hate the Yankees. They would probably check G-Rod's bat and find that it is corked.
But seriously, I would think that the pinch-runner Womack would get the run scored.

once giambi leaves the base, he has officially left the game. womack gets the run.

Womack. They count who touched the plate...not who would have.

Womack, but that's assuming Giambi can hit a double.

That was my 1st thought, but someone said otherwise so I wasn't positive!
LOL, I guess Giambi was the wrong guy to use, I'd be happy for him just to hit the ball!
A-Rod using a "corked" bat is just a STUPID comment that you & everyone else knows would never happen.
