Stallone's Poe Movie A Go

Oh how I wish I were kidding:

I have little faith in Stallone's ability to walk without assistance, much less read and write. For those of you who've yet to watch "The Contender," Stallone's attempts to string together words and form sentences make for priceless comedy.
I have several friends who are "Rocky" devotes (I am not one) and I always enjoy the fact that when I am critical of those movies their response, invariably, is "Did you know he wrote those himself?" As if Stallone were retarded (probably not a terribly unfair characterization) and I am to applaud him for
writing words on paper. Good job buddy! This is followed
by "well it won two Academy Awards" at which point I
say "Titanic won several, that proves nothing."
Below (scroll down) is a list of movies Stallone played some part in "writing."
"Notorious" is a look at the deaths of Tupac and Biggie, a subject that Stallone apparently felt deserves yet another movie (this makes four.) I recognize that the insular culture of Hollywood creates a rather warped perspective. However, at
some point, one would expect someone, somewhere to say:
You know, perhaps this subject isn't best addressed by a
nearly 60-year-old white millionaire. One would be
wrong.
"Paradise Alley" can be best summed up by its tagline:
"The Carboni Boys. They haul ice, lay out stiffs and dance with monkeys." The only question: Who doesn't that apply to?
Same goes for "The Lords of Flatbush" - "When was the last time someone gave you a hickey?"
Amen brother.
Lest we forget:
