Do we have any history and/or trivia buffs on the board? If so, can you answer this question without researching the internet?
Who was the only world leader who officially offered their countries condolonces to the Nazi Government of Germany when Adolf Hitler was deceased?
I'll give the answer in 10 minutes.

Interesting. I did not know that. Is there a larger point to the post? Or just trivia? Did you know that off the top of your head, or did you read it somewhere recently?

When I was in Ireland recently, the topic came up on an evening Talk show and I found it quite interesting. Ireland is officially a "neutral" country, but in the modern era, they lean more towards the "west". I just found that piece of trivia fascinating for some unknown reason.

I always thought it was because of their relationship with England.
You know, the whole "an enemy of my enemy is a friend" position.
