Was talking to a guy today about Message Boards, Chat Rooms, and Bloggs. After hearing him talk I begain to realize that this "site," this "message board" could be classified as a Blogg.

Am I correct? If so, what is the distinction between this blogg and a message board? Anything?

I had heard the term "blogg" but didn't use it when talking about this site...honestly, wasn't sure I really knew what it was.

Hey, give me a break, I'm an old guy who isn't that proficient in IT stuff. Can someone set me straight? Thanks in advance.

A Blog is more of a journal, like a Xanga or MySpace.

This is definitly a message board, kindof a slower more interactive Chat Room.

Message Boards are better than Chat rooms because they allow you to leave a message, and then reply later. Chats are always instant.

Anyways, this is not a Blog, but if Boss Hog's articles on the front page had the ability to comment on them for example, and show it in a box where people could talk about it, it would be a quote on quote "blog"

Blog is only 1 G, but Blogg looks cooler...
