How many touchdowns will our offense give up?

I think it will give up about one a game, or 16 total for 2005-6, if you count indirect but obvious giveaways, such as turning the ball over on our sixteen. If you count only direct scores, such as fumbles and interceptions and blocked kicks carried all the way back for score, I think 6 would be a pretty fair guess. Of the interceptions and quarterback fumbles carried back, five will be caused by Ramsey being killed by unblocked blitzers while looking for Patten and Moss long.
This total does not include field goals given up by the offense or stalled drives that leave the defense merely routinely vulnerable, such as first and ten backed up on their own thirty.

30 + touchdowns this year, we won't be as good on defense as we were last year...

I'm just not even going to watch this season. Its obviously going to pointless to watch such a terrible team. I'll just pull for no one to get killed. This is really getting old. We get the point you think we are going to be terrible. Enough already.

I never said we were going to be terrible, I think we'll win 9 and lose 7, i think that is a good season for the skins

I think it will be better this year...obviously last year it was ridiculous though. Rmember when the fumbles and INT's by us were returned for TDs in 5 straight games ? I used to joke with my coworkers that we should just spot the other team 7 pts before the coin toss to save us the embarrassment.
But I think we'll be much better this year. I'm rooting for zero.

Scoring D: G AVG TDS
Washington 16 16.6 30
Last year we only gave up 30 tds, so what i said about giving up more than 30 isn't so bad....

6-10 or 7-9 is my perdiction. 1-5 in our divison. Actually the Giants have improved. This is Eli second year, Barber is NFC's leading rusher. They might sweep us also but I doubt it.

Actually the original question was how many TD's would the OFFENSE give up, ala Brunell fumbles and Ed Reed takes it to the house.
Fewer

Fewer than last year. Overall, the reason is not only due to the defense. I also believe that the offense will not give the ball away as much we did last year.
The improved play of our Special Teams will putus in a much better field position on offense and defence throughout the entire season.

Without improviding the offense, we might pull 7-9 or even 8-8 because of a great defense and the addition of Ramsey and (hopefully) emergence of a short yardage back (Nemo maybe). If Gibbs and Co. even now, would get serious about our needs on offense, we could contend for the playoffs. WE need a WR and a pass catching TE. Do something, guys.

You cynics are pathetic. Try to look at things with a hint of realism. Check my sig line if you don't know what realism is.
Our offense was gelling and beginning to improve towards the end of the season. It will be key to continue to improve. We have already overhauled the receiving corps and the O-Line...just because there was no 'big splash' doesn't mean we will not improve. We will likely have 4 or 5 new starters on offense. That is almost 50% turnover. (Jansen, Raybach, Moss, Patten, perhaps TE) anything more would be overkill.
And as for the suggestions about blocked kicks being returned for TD's...now that wouldn't be the OFFENSE giving up a TD now would it. Offense doesn't kick field goals. Go on keep predicting the losses..why don't you manic depressives start ONE THREAD where you can all whine back and forth and console each other.
You know kind of like a focus group.

Crazyhorse and John Manfreda the two worst bandwagoners on the board. I think both of them should jump to the Detroit fan sites since they love Mike Williams so much. Seriously I'm sick of the negativity, it's like Manfreda is actually rooting for the Skins to lose.

Not as much as Brunell single-handedly gave up.

SKINS WILL ALLOW MAYBE 1 TOUCHDOWN A GAME... BUT MOST OF THE TIME, JUST A LUCKY FIELD GOAL!

Honestly some of you are really annoying... have some faith! Our defense will be just as good this year, it wasnt just Peirce and Smoot. It was our Defensive coaches and our defensive players as a whole. As for our offense. Well did you not see our offense click the last 5 games? Also how we ran the eagles in december? We can do this in 05! Gibbs is adjusting to new rules and new players, but he is a winner! Remember, you dont know everything thats going on... we will get 10 wins! OH yeah and our O-Line is sick...HAIL TO THE REDSKINS!

If we stay healthy we can do great things.
The Giants blow...and will blow again.
The E-Gals have had their run ....4 and done.
The Cowgirls and Deadsoe are going to be better but only by a couple of games.
We have talked about this many times ... look at the Skins who missed over half of the season last year. It's almost like having a second draft with all the players that we are getting back.

Well you do come off as a hardcore fan, but getting the wife mad is never a good idea. As a fellow Skins fan, I say go for it, but as a fellow guy, dont make your wife angry.

I don't have NFL ticket, so I don't get to watch the Redskins every week, and as such I'm not prepaired to make a prediction. Also I'd like to say I like Ramsey alot, but I hope this year he learns to hold the ball when he is on the 10 yard line and getting tackled. No more soft lobbs over the middle or desperation tosses!

The recent news (scandal) from the FDA is the discovery that tatoo dye contains lead and cancer causing agents. Getting a tatoo at this time is a dumb move, especially if there is a family problem with it and you have or are planning to have children. Sorry. If your Dad were alive and aware of the latest medical findings, he would probably kick your butt for ever thinking about it.

Didnt know that... Good to know about cancer causing agents, esp since I do plan on having my first child next year. So good looking out. As for my dad... yeah he would kick my ass at first, but every time he saw it after, I know he would love it...
But thanx again.
