Not possible. The trade cap is too big, we're most likely getting rid of hassellback by trading him.

Brunnell will be with us through this season. I believe after this year, his cap hit becomes more minimal - Does anyone out there know for sure?

if we are stuck with brunnell, then i suppose his years of experience and verbal participation with our QB pick may be beneficial for the length of this season. hopefully we can get rid of him quickly.

so...we'll see. many months from now.

Is Brunell expendable after June 1? I dunno. Just wondering.

First of all, we need to get the correct spelling of his name before trying to cut him. We wouldn't want to accidentally release local favorite and longtime maintenance worker Joey Brunnel over at Redskins Park.

As for Mark Brunell, he's got a long future with the Skins ahead of him. I can't say the same about Patrick or Timmah, unfortunately.

Is there any possible way Brunell could walk with out hurting the team? Perhaps he retires as a player and Gibbs picks him up to learn how to coach QB's with Musgrave?

In Sep, 2006 you will hear, "And the starting quarterback for your Washington Redskins is ... Mark Brunell!"

WHY???:
1. Ramsey will be gone. If he plays well we won't be able to afford him and if he plays poorly, well, either way he is gone after 2005.
2. Campbell won't step on the field in 2005.
3. Campbell won't have any on field experience by 2006 and Brunell does.
$. Gibbs won't start a guy with no on field experience from day one!
5. For some unknown reason Gibbs likes Brunell.
6. Again, Ramsey will be gone!

If you hear that, I can assure you it will be followed by "sir, please stop trying to chew through your straight-jacket, the doctor will be in shortly ... no, there are not pink clowns taunting you outside."

This thread gave me a headache already after the predictions made by Redeemed and 33. What a bunch of nightmare scenarios! See you later.
