Anyone else make it to Draft Day?

Scott, Jackson, and I had a great time. Jackson loved running on the field and playing football. They had a set up where you could attempt a field goal. Scott was oh so close, missed it by a hair. Jackson's attempt was cute. He wanted to remain on the field the entire time but we went up and checked out the club level. We managed to watch part of the radio coverage with the Sports Junkies. And Terri I'm sorry to say you missed Darnerian singing, twice!! And Randy Thomas is quite the character. He was cracking jokes and sang a little bit as well. Darnerian promised there'd be no reason for excuses this year. He said he was giving them even one, not to play him.
ey and John Hall were also there, though they both looked like they need haircuts. One of my favortie parts of the day was when Rock Cartwright was asked how he thought we'd do against the Cowboys this year. He said "I cannot say it how I really want to say it, I'll just say we're gonna sweep 'em" Oh and we watched Joe Gibbs address the crowd. We got a pretty good seat for it and should have gotten some decent pictures. We also toured the locker room, which was very exciting for Jackson. While we were walking down the tunnell he just kept saying "Oh my goodness mom, oh my goodness!". He didn't like that we couldn't get right to Ramsey's locker. LOL All and all it's something we'll do again next year and probably every year they do it. Even if it's only for the playing on the field part. One more thing was that we got to meet Donnie Warren, Rod McDole, Roy Jefferson, and Pat Fischer. All very great and gracious guys. The one thing I noticed was they got very fed up with the adults asking them to sign anything Redskins. We saw a kid having the alumni's sign his Smoot jersey that he had just purchased down stairs for 10 bucks. Nuts. Completely!
