First let me say that I love the Carlos Rogers selection, this guy was the best CB in the draft in the draft, bar none. Now for all the haters who have been slamming on Campbell, we have several scenarios, #1 what if Ramsey has a career year and because the 'Skins don't have the cap space he goes somewhere else, I don't want to see the competition between a physically broken down has-been in Brunell and a never-was in Tim Hasselbeck. #2 Ramsey gets signed has a Drew Brees year and the Skins have two good QB's on the roster, I know this is a stretch for us in recent years when the QB roster has consisted of Jeff George/Tony Banks Heath Schuler/Gus Frerrote (Do you really want to see Frerrote back? do you?) Tony Banks/Kent Graham and Shane Matthews/Danny Wuerffel. I like Ramsey, but if he goes down to injury I don't want to see Brunell hobble out onto the field or Hasselbeck and his deer in the headlights look. Would I have liked to have seen Matt Roth there? Yeah, but I trust Gibbs. I think that Ramsey is a core Redskin, but I also thought Smoot was a core Redskin and look what happened there. I want Ramsey to be the man, but if he's not I don't want to be looking at 6th FA Qb's like Akili Smith or Tim Couch when Miami or TB throws a load of money at him.

Let's hope our cap will be better next year with all the fiscal spending this year.
