How dare he say that the Redskins want Campbell....wait, what just happened

Unfortunately for me i just lost my faith in Gibbs, this is and will be a waist pick and it cost the redskins many picks, what will happen if Ramsey leads this team to the playoffs which he will, then what, do we trade Campbell?, trade Ramsey?, this is just amazing, we needed offense and we pick a cb which that`s ok b/c it`s a need but then Gibbs drafts a QB which won`t do any good for the redskins next season.

I like Ramsey a lot but this just show everyone that Gibbs doesn`t beleives in him at all, last year Brunell now this guy.

How often to teams that switch QBs after week 10 make the playoffs?

On one hand you think Gibbs makes awful moves, but on the other you think they're making the playoffs. Wow, just imagine what they could do, in your mind, if they had a coach that knew what he was doing!

Len is a great journalist and is always right when it comes to the Redskins. Even though he hates the skins he is right. Gibbs must be fired. I hate Gibbs, Cerrato, and Snyder. Bethard was the sole reason the Skins were good in the 80's and early 90's. Betherad told Gibbs who to play and what to do.

I know you're frustrated, and so am I. I was at the stadium today, and just about all of the SKins fans there were upset. But hey...lets evaluate this after we know how these guys turn out.

There are so many idiotic comments on the board from people who are upset about our picks...

This is almost as bad as when Philly drafted McNabb...

We'll see what they have to say a couple years down the road when experts agree that Campbell and Rogers are the best QB and CB from the 2005 draft.

Oh, I dunno, how about Montana and Young for one little example?

Calm down. If Ramsey does well this season, which I think he will for sure, then he'll stay our QB as long as he gets the job done. Campbell will sit on the bench and just get better and better. When Ramsey can no longer do it or he moves on in 3, 4 or 5 years, we'll have Campbell ready to step right in.

I agree somewhat. I realized that at work when my brother-in-law told me we drafted Campbell. I thought to myself "Damn, Pastabelly was right!"

I was scared that Lenny was credible for once but as far as the pick goes, I'm not gonna whine about it. The guy just led his team to an undefeated season! He's not bad. Gibbs will give Ramsey his shot.

Everyone needs to stop acting like they know what's best for the team and let Gibbs do his job.

LOL, same thing for me Jake. I didn't want Campbell mainly because of pastabelly. Sad isn't it? Now I'm letting Fat Len have an influence on who I want on the team? Sad sad sad...

Anyway, once I realized I was being pathetic, and I thought it over, I can see where Gibbs is going. Funny how he does stuff that I can't understand, then when I think long and hard about it, I start to see the picture he's painting. He's a pretty damn smart guy to see the picture before it's being painted. We are so lucky to have him back. I can't wait for some of these doubters on here to eat the crow they deserve. Gibbs will make believers out of them very soon. Of course, most of them will just disappear or make new names and pretend they had faith all along, but the few courageous ones who stick it out are really gonna hear it....

anyway, pastabelly didn't figure anything out on his own, somebody talked, and for some stupid reason they went to fat len. Why couldn't they have called Mort up first?!

Len Pasquarelli was correct? Did the Redskins make the
trade with Denver to draft Campbell? Is it possible that
they really wanted another player (e.g. Matt Jones) but
he was no longer available?

My guess is that Len was right ... but I wonder if we would
have taken Jones if he was available.

hard to say for sure, but it sure looks like they wanted Campbell all along...
