Giant fan here--couldn't believe that Mike Williams fell to you at 9--then you passed on him to replace Smoot. Wow!!!!!

Was not looking forward to the two Wills trying to cover Mike Williams.

They'll just break him and want another next year.

I'm glad MWilliams did not land in Dallas. Because if he did, we might have been forced to end his career. I just like this guy so much that I'm glad he saved his own career. :)
Just playin... trying to make something good out of a bad situation.

I'm also glad neither of your teams drafted him. Now he has a chance to actually develop into an NFL player.

Don't get me wrong, I was pretty upset at first when we didn't select Mike Williams. (Just ask Mr. Luva Luva).

After some thought, however, one thing that concerns me about him is his lack of recent playing time. My gut tells me that this guy is gonna get injured out of the gate (though I certainly don't wish it upon him) because he hasn't been playing a "game speed" in so long.

The Redskins made the right pick, I think. Williams, though of great potential, raises too many concerns for me.

He doesn't even have to play for the Lions this year, assuming the other receivers stay healthy. They've got WR depth that any team would kill for.

Only Philly would kill for that type of WR depth. Az-Hakim showed to be something of a bust when out of St Louis, the two worst WR corps in the league, Baltimore and Cleveland, both gave up on Kevin Johnson. Rogers is one step away from saying "I've fallen and I can't get up" for a living.

Roy Williams showed some talent, but after that it's all question marks. Not really depth.

And Williams will be a bust. The no contract rule also limits the large receivers ability to push off to gain separation.

That didn't stop the Giants from drooling all over Plaxico.

Anything that Az-Hakim hasn't done yet I'm blaming on poor coaching and a craptacular QB.

He was good for a short time. It's amazing how fast he went downhill.
