what's the difference between these two TEs, and what makes it worth picking Heath with our 25 (as many of you call for)?

There is one key difference....COOLEY IS NOT A TIGHT END!

ey plays H-Back, and is a damn good one. Miller has better size, not to mention is a better pass threat. Heath Miller is like taking a number 1 WR, strapping 65 pounds on him, and lining him up against LB's.

ey and Miller together will give every defensive interior all they can handle.

thanks, the redskins production at TE was so bad last year I forgot the difference.

you guys don't seem to understand. As long as Gibbs runs this team(4 more years at least), the TE position on this team will be almost purely for blocking. That's why he didn't take Winslow last year. Winslow would have been wasted here and he would have started bitching because he wouldn't have gotten many catches. Same thing goes for Miller. Why pick a great receiving TE when you don't throw balls to your TE's? That would be stoopid...

How do you run a max-protect scheme out of a single-back set and send your TE and HB out on pass routes? If we had a big name pass-catching TE, that'd be a pretty big re-working of our offense I'd think. We just revamped our WR lineup, have a ton of depth there, and we're going to send an even bigger chunk of our passes to our new superstar TE now (along with the HB who is a great interior threat already)? Weird.
