http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/playerprofiles/qb/stefanlefors.htmlCollege: Louisville
Height: 6-01/8
Position: Quarterback
Weight: 208
Class: Senior
40-Yard: 4.53
Strengths: Good athlete with excellent mobility to scramble and make things happen when the play breaks down...Very accurate passer with good timing and touch...Doesn't make many mistakes...Has all the intangibles you look for and is a team leader and field general...Has the "It" factor that all the great ones possess.
Weaknesses: Vastly undersized in terms of a pro prospect...Arm strength is subpar and will become more of a problem at the next level...Durability could be a concern due to his size and style of play...Will need to be in the right system to even have a chance.
I think we're that right team. This is a good prospect. JGibbs knows how to pickem and if we pick this guy up in the upcoming draft (as in Hasselbeck doesnt return), I think we'll be set once Ramsey exits or goes down.
This guy seems to have the tangibles and intangibles that make a quaterback good..the only question is him arm strength, but that be improved I think.
Plain and Simple, draft Stefan for the long term. Not many other teams are looking at him as a good prospect, so we should take advantage of that.

No way in the world we draft someone whose bio lists "arm strength is subpar". Just my guess but our problem with Brunnell was lack of passing game, we don't want to go there again.

NO...lets think about the next few years instead of the long term...we have other needs and our quarterback position is fine we still need a corner, wr, mlb, guard, and maybe a kicker.we have only 5 draft picks and they needed to be used wisely

As a Louisville fan, I would say NOT A CHANCE. He would do a good job as our number 3 QB, but no better. If you watched any Louisville games this year, you would see that LeFors is not an NFL starter. People last year were calling for freshman Brian Brohm to start over him, and I mostly agreed. He has a weak arm, is average under pressure, and will absolutely get eaten alive by NFL blitz defenses. If he was in the ACC or the SEC, he would have never started a game.

Keep in Mind however, I don't want to pick him so much...
But it seems from Reports JGibbs is interested in this guy.

I think as long as we have hassellback we're fine at qb.

Our current QB corps are fine. Hasselbeck is a great safety net at #3 and coulb easily be a #2 in most NFL teams.
