I cant wait to see the skins in action again.I'm hoping to see a differnt looking offense this year.I was thinking of the areas that need to be fine tuned. I thought that putting it in a poll would be good so everyone can see what ranks as important.I know that things are boring right now so please be gentle Im just trying to make it through the offseason.I know that my list is simple but if we cant do any of this, then were not going to the play offs again next year.I have to say that my worst nightmare for now is having another sloppy looking offensive.

I think the most thing we need to work on is the passing game. If we can get the chemistry working with Ramsey and his receivers, we will be unstopable... I cant wait becausei know JGibbs and BMusgrave can pull it off, and turn ramsey into payton

Just saw Ramsey on NFL total access...they are working on the passing game of course, and being more balanced...they sumised what we all know...that if they score 1 more TD per game...and have another top defense...then we win double digit games....that is a statistic...and Ramsey mentioned it on Total Access

I don't see REDZONE on the poll. Therefore, I am not going to vote. We kicked too many field goals in the redzone last year. We need to punch it in.

Quarterback and Wr rythem/no droped passes

Definitely! That's the MOST we need to fix in training camp. If the WRs and the QB are on the same page, it will open up the long passing game. Then, if we have the deep threat (long passing game) it will force the defenses to let the running game work. It's all a domino effect; if the passing game problem is resolved, we'll be great on offense.

Over the years I always got pissed off at our defense for allowing stupid plays, missed tackles, and unnecessary penalties. Now that we have most of that fixed, we have got to hamper down on this offense. I think JGibbs knows that it was the offense that didn't produce last year, clearly. I'm confident he'll make up for what happened last year. He's supposed to be a better coach than GWilliams...and if Williams could turn a defense around 360 degrees, I'm sure JGibbs will be able to do the exact same thing, if not better.

Things are looking good fellas! I'm excited! I pray that PRamsey and SSprings don't get injured and that we pick up ARolle in the draft.

I'm finally starting to feel a little bit of relief on the progress of our team. Hopefully what happens in the future can keeps my hopes up.

Running needs the most work which deals with the red zone offense.

Can't agree with you there dude. Remember last year? That was our problem. We had no passing game so defenses had a very easy time guessing our plays. It was going to be a run or just a hitch pass. When you pass the ball for less than 15 yards, the defenses can always pack the line with more people. That way, there's no running game.

If you don't have a decent passing game, you won't have a decent running game.

If you have a decent running game, it doesn't always mean that you'll have a decent passing game. Here's why, because once you have a offense which primarily depends on the run, defenses are going to blitz you, knowing you're not going to pass. By the time Patrick has a chance to look downfield, he'll be looking at the shining lights of the stadium.

Agree?

I agree.

A good passing game leads to a good running game as well. The other team won't be able to stack the box with 8 defenders. Once we get respect for the pass, our running game is going to explode.
However, I still think Red Zone needs a lot of work. The passing game is totally different in the red zone and can only run short yardage patterns. Thus, the coordinators have to be way more creative to find guys open in the red zone.
I think the chemistry between wide receivers and QB develops throughout training. It will come. Red Zone needs the focus.

We need to improve the running game. Clinton said last year was anadjustment period for him, and he still managed to get a boatload of yards. Can u imagine what the guy could do if the he gets the running lanes he needs???? The team invested a lot of money in the running game. It's time for Mr. Portis to start paying dividends.

Plus, if Clinton is averaging, like, 150 a game, the defense will most definitely be playing the run, thereby opening huge passing lanes for Ramsey to complete the deep bombs we all wanna see.

I agree that a good passing game leads to a good running game. But regardless our offensive line didn't do well in creating holes for portis and if there were any portis would seem to just get caught in them. he worked hard which is good but we need better production from him, from the running creating its own opportunities. lots of temas ride the running back who is able to create his own looks. we should have been able to do that. we did with betts....

All of the items highlighted in the poll are important.

Yes, I would agree everything listed is important.

However, if I had to pick one... :hmm: It would have to be the Offensive Line. If the Dirt Bags get in a rhythm, LOOK OUT our running game and passing game will improve right along with it.
