I've never gotten a chance to go to one of these things. Is it worth it? What do they do exactly? Are current players that are on the roster there? Are we able to get autographs from them?

Last year there was a bunch of players there. Jackson got Dmac, smoot and Nic Clemons, as well as former players Pat Fischer, Mike Bragg, Roy Jefferson and Raven Caldwell (who is big enough to still be playing).

Also, there was opportunities to get your picture taken with the trophies, as well as spend lots of money on stuff.

The best part was playing football on the field with Jackson (that's where the photo in my avatar came from).

I went last year and had a blast. I was on the field when they picked Taylor and the crowd went nuts. I also went inside and got my picture taken with the Super Bowl trophies. That was too cool. Joe Gibbs also came out and addressed the fans. I, for one, had a blast...and I would recommend going if you can make it.

No, but seriously, do you have to bring your own football or do they provide them?

Are the food prices normal? Or are there special Draft Day prices?

The food was all 1 or 2 dollars. Definitely NOT game day prices. It was also cool for anyone who hasn't been on the club level. Because they had the entire level opened up to us average joes! I had a blast and we'll be going back again this year.

Just remember, there's no refs....so you may be able to out run me, but eventually you'll stop, and whammo!!

But doesn't the security make sure you empty your pockets before you enter the stadium? I was going to a game a year ago and they made me throw away a bottle of un-opened coke. Are you sure they will allow us to bring footballs? Or am I going to be forced to throw my football too?

Last year I saw folks tossing footballs around. I assumed that they brought their own.

Is there anyway of getting the approval from the skins? Do you think I could call the front office and make sure it is okay? Are they capable of answering questions?

ROTFALMAO... you make me laugh hatsoff...

bring the football... they're not gonna take it... people bring in blankets, sit pads, etc. when going to games... I'm sure they're not gonna say you can't bring in a football...to a football stadium...

:) :? :) :? :) :?

They made me throw a perfectly good bottle of coke away. Throw it away! At least they could've drank it! hehehehhehe....I don't want to get my football thrown in the trash....that thing cost me like 25 or 30 bucks!!!
The coke was easy to part with but my ball, I don't know man.....It's not worth taking it and being thrown away at the end. That's why I'm concerned. :)

Simple answer. Don't take it. You can stand back and watch everyone else play catch.

Dude, the rules for the game are much more strict than the rules for draft day. They are letting you on the field, my man. Of course you will need a football.

Bringin' in a football should be the least of your worries. Tryin' to run a deep fly pattern amidst the bajillion other games going on at once is more of a concern.

A game of catch, though, can definitely be accomplished.

Definitely arrive early if you wanna get a game goin'.

Oh yeah, I remember they had a tent sale goin' on all day last year. You might wanna hold off on buying Skins gear until then. You'll get some good deals. Some gear, mind you, is of former Skins (old authentics, game worns, etc.)

The club level access is sweet, too. Definitely worth the trip, especially if you rarely get a chance to be at a game. Best of all, no entrance fee!!!

It's a good time...and for goodness sakes, hatsoff, bring your stinkin' football. It won't be confiscated. Hundreds of people brought a football. Really, you have more of chance of getting lit up by a van (ask CLL) running a route than you do getting your "$25-$30" football taken by the FedEx Police.

The food is cheaper...I want to say 50% off of gameday prices. I stuck around long enough to hear/see Joe Gibbs and left...and, considering the drive...it was worth it...hope to see some of you there...

Oh, and anyone going who has a theHogs.net T-shirt that is going should wear it,so that we can meet each other.

It's always more fun when you can put a name in face together. You do get funny looks though, when there is a group of guys calling each other by their "code names".
