I've followed him with the Texans and wouldn't mind seeing him in B&G for a bargain price.

Plus I thought I'd share the 'true' ad/pic I like so much in the middle of the page! :)

Yall this is a chance to get a veteran MLB who can still play this game very well and who also is a leader on the field and in the locker room. All we have to do is sign him give the money that we were planning on giving C.Brown but just a little bit more. Sharper has never missed a NFl game in 9 years, since 2001 he has averaged a solid 136 tackles!! He will be a great sign for us there that way we can draft Antrel Rolle certainly. Also that means he will be asking for a lot of money but with trading WR Rod Gardner before the draft or on draft day will clear just about 2 million dollars to satisfy his contract. If this happens (Antonio Pierce, Who???)

What Do My Comrads think?????????????

Jami Sharper is a fricken good and I would love to have him, but don't we have bigger needs. Like a #1 WR and a staring corner or a pass rushing DE or a little dept at DT (I mean after Grif who is there). Still he would look mighty good in burgandy and gold.

I would love to have him for the right price.

I would love also, to see the competition in Training camp.

There are a few ILB out there now, Rob Morris from the Colts and Sharper are two...Sharper is quicker than Morris and has proven himself, but Morris is 3, or so, years younger.

Maybe inquire about Sharper and make him a "low" offer with incentives...if he doesn't bite, wait until later...

Barrow would be a good option, if his knees are okay.

Great player! I would love to have him suit up for the B&G, but I just don't think we'll spend the money on him.

DO IT.

Use the money that was going to be used on Courtney Brown...at least the money would be spent on a healthy tackle monster.

Antonio who? Sharper is the real deal...whether he was in Baltimore, Houston, or Washington.

He's got another 4-5 years left in the tank.

The Skins should be very aggresive with this potential signing....that would be one hell of a LB corps.

Plus, when Gardner is traded it will free up $2 million more to pursue vets after the June 1st cuts.

Get it done Danny! I am not drinking the Barrow/Marshall @ MLB kool-aid.

Me either....health and rust (in the case of Barrow) and size and experience (in the later case) concern me.

THE NEWS

Recently released linebacker Jamie Sharper could visit the Seahawks this week. Sharper's agent has been in contact with the Seahawk front office, and Seattle has a need at his position after releasing Anthony Simmons and losing Orlando Huff via free agency.

OUR VIEW

Sharper was released last week by the Texans and is expected to draw interest from several teams besides the Seahawks, most notably the Ravens (his former team), the Bengals (coached by Marvin Lewis, his former defensive coordinator), and the Jaguars (coached by Jack Del Rio, his former linebackers coach).

THE NEWS

The Ravens are looking into the possibility of bringing back linebacker Jamie Sharper, who spent five seasons in Baltimore before joining the Texans.

OUR VIEW

Sharper could jump in front of T.J. Slaughter, who has yet to agree to the Ravens' offer. However, several other teams including Seattle, Cincinnati, and Jacksonville are also pursuing Sharper.

Let's go after him, like we did Courtney. If he doesn't sign, we go with our other options and/or wait and see what comes up later.

THE NEWS

The Seahawks won the Jamie Sharper sweepstakes on Tuesday. The two sides reached an agreement on a five-year, $17.5 million contract, reports ESPN's John Clayton. Sharper, who was also negotiating with the Bengals and Jaguars, has spent the last three seasons in Houston and hasn't failed to record 100 tackles since the 2000 season.

OUR VIEW

Sharper can play middle linebacker if needed, but the Seahawks will use him on the strong side next season. He hasn't missed a game in his nine-year career, and gives Seattle's linebacking unit a serious upgrade in talent and production.

Oh well, he signed for too much $ and too long of a contract for it to be a good deal in Washington. But how much do you thin Rob Morris would cost?
