They had shot better than 38%, they had made free throws, they had gotten to the line as much as South Carolina (16 times for MD vs 40 times for SC, hell SC made more free throws than MD took), they had played better and they didn't turn over the ball more than 20 times.

What a pathetic game. They were out hussled, they were out-rebounded (granted that was partly due to the terrible officiating, but mostly due to lack of effort) and they folded under the press....the same press they face every day in practice.

I'm disappointed that they lost, but almost releaved that this terrible season is behind them. Man they sucked this year.

Go Michigan State and Louisville.

They didn't suck.

I agree, JF. Let's just put this year behind us. Terps football had its win over Florida State, and Terps basketball got the best of Duke this year. . .but aside from that both seasons were just horrible.

Maybe Terps lacrosse will do better. . .and I should actually be home to watch the games come tournament time.

But until next year, I'll just have to try and think about other things than Terps sports
