Pasquarelli: Skins Might Want Andre Dyson

This sounds like personal speculation on his part. I'll believe it when I see "sources".
The Redskins might have an interest in unrestricted free-agent cornerback Andre Dyson of Tennessee. The Redskins lost Champ Bailey in a trade last spring and Fred Smoot defected to Minnesota in free agency two weeks ago. Dyson is a bit undersized, but is a nice "ball' athlete, and makes more than his share of plays.

I like Dyson. I wouldn't mind that at all.

I agree, pure speculation...he pulled out of his a**. I guess we were supposed to sign him right after we signed Derrick Mason, who was being "pursued" by the Skins....yeah right Pasta Belly

For the last few weeks I've been secretly wishing to sign Andre Dyson. I'd rather have him than Courtney Brown, but getting both of them would be awesome. Dyson is great in coverage, awesome speed, and is probably a little bit bigger than Smoot. We could get him at a really affordable price and I think he'd be in a similar situation as Marcus Washington last year. A young player waiting to have a breakout season while not commanding too much money. GET DYSON!!!!!!!

I get it now, Pasta Belly heard the story about Kevin Dyson, and accidentally reported Andre Dyson, either way that guy has no clue what Gibbs is up to, what did he fly to Maui and hang around listening for story?

I love how a reporter can get away with printing a story like this. The Skins might want Andre Dyson. Yeah, and it might snow in July. I'm not saying that it won't happen, though I wonder where we would find the cap room. I'm just saying its interesting how reporters are free to just speculate.

Andre would be a nice corner; he's probably as good as smoot.

if there is any validity to this story then Dyson would be a nice pickup, but I think that Pastabelly is up to his old tricks

Great addition if we get him, then we can get Mike Williams OR trade down for 2 first rounders then draft a MLB and CORNER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What is it about the Skins wanting Dyson's this week-- Kevin the WR and now Andre the corner.
Are they related by chance?
Kevin was cut by the Chargers last year in training camp and I wasn't overly impressed with their WR's last year.
Andre is a little short but if Greg Wms wants him, I trust him.

the corner dyson is better than Walt Harris...

Walt Harris is a good corner for zone cover 2 defenses.... we need a cover guy....

While I don't share your dislike of Walt Harris I can't deny that Andre Dyson is a different class of player...and young which helps for the future. I would love to see this happen.

I didn't know Shawn has a twin... we can always clone him from KC and use him at MLB this year!
Went to high school with Shawn - Great guy! Was damn sad when he was a casualty to the Chiefs.

I would say Dyson is just as good as Smoot was. I am suprised he has not been signed yet.

I think dyson would be a great pickup, but i don't see him being signed until after the draft. The skins, like a lot of teams, are currently working out players and figuring out whether they are going to be great NFL players. The way I see it, the team is waiting to take a look at pac man jones or rolle, and then decide if they're going to be a better pick up than say signing dyson. If they see Mike Williams is a great prospect and a must have, and jones and rolle don't impress, they just sign dyson and go after williams.
Right now teams are doing all this so that's why i don't think dyson will be signed for a few weeks if not after the draft

Are we sure that Fat Lenny wasn't thinking "Tyson" as in "chicken" as he was waiting for lunch to be served? Seriously, I think it would make better sense to try to draft a CB (Rolle) and develop him (for cap considerations) than to pay Dyson what he probably thinks he's worth.
