Im trying not to!!!! My car note it due and I need to be saving money.

The price of the UMD movies drove me away.
Also the fact that Sony isn't covering dead pixels under the warranty kinda deterred me a bit. I also heard that dead pixels are common place in LCD screens but in a screen so small it'd be hard to ignore.

I've found a way through researching that I may be able to rip my DVDs to my PC and then drop them onto a 1GB mem stick. Its not a simple process but can be done.

I tried to con my g/f out of $100 today but she won't budge. I need this for my myrtle beach, and kings dominion trips. Wouldnt be bad to take to work on Friday night/ Sat. mornings....

if there is a CompUSA near you, they will insure a PSP (regardless of where you purchased it from) for 1-2 yrs. for I think $27-44. and it covers everthing except for theft.

Also i think stores like EBGames and Gamestop will do the same and the Dead Pixels have been reported to happen less frequently than the JP ones. I'll be posting some impressions of it here tommorrow when i bring it home.

I got my PSP today. I got mine from Kmart, and g/f's buddy works there and gave us her employee discount.

Its currently charging but I turned it on in the car just to check for dead pixels and I found NONE!!!! YEA!

If you haven't seen the LCD screen then you've seen nothing. This the gamebody for the 18+ crowd. Spiderman 2 looks amazing. I can't wait to pop my Stars Trailer on the memory stick and some audio and take it to work and DC with me tommorow!

I only have Ridge Racer, I have some bills due next week so I can't spend anymore money on it. Im not going to spend a lot of money on games because this isnt going to be an everyday system for me. I'll be able to afford to wait for the prices to drop as Im not going on any trips in the near future.
