I'd be fine with Rolle, Mike Williams, Heath Miller or Shawne Merriman. All 4 would fill a need.

I'd like to see Williams or Rolle- but I think we have something else up our sleeve.

This is the best Mock Draft I've seen this year.
He has a good point when he says if Braylon and Mike are gone by #9, that since their are no clear cut #1 WR's, we should just get a clear cut #1 CB in Antrell Rolle.
Also, I think on this board we have been a wie bit biased in hoping we get Vincent Jackson in the 3rd round or so.
He puts VJ at #28 in the first round, and even if that is a bit high, I highly doubt a huge 6 foot 5 WR will fall to the 3rd Round.
And the only problem I see with Shawne Merriman is his weight. He was a guest on Total Access and looked more like a DT than a MLB. I'm not sure if we draft him would want his talent for D-Line which I think he will end up playing unless he joins Jenny Craig.

Yeah...i have been big on Vincent Jacskon...he is a beast...though he may not go 1st round, he will be gone by 3rd...his measurables are just off the charts...only knock is he went to Northern Colorado...but hey...T.O. went to Tennessee-Chatanooga
In a perfect world we would get a 2nd Round Pick for Rod Gardner, and have Vince fall right to us...

I saw a horrible mock draft the other day with the Skins drafting the Florida State OT at #9. We should start a thread of funniest mock drafts, or should I say the most clueless.
I am convinced that the Skins feel that either pac-man or Antrell will be available at #9 and will take either of them.
They will address depth at WR, MLB and DE later in the draft.

Or better yet, look at older Mock Drafts and laugh at the biggest busts on scouting reports.

Ok guys, riddle me this : What if both Adam "Pac-man" Jones goes to Tennesse at pick no.6 and Antre Rolle goes to Arizona at no.8 (because I can tell you this Dennis Green is going to take Rolle over Carnell Williams because he knows he can still get a quality RB in the 2nd Round and his defensive backfield sucks) and then we can't find anyone who wants to trade up so we move down. Who do we pick at No.9?

I think we should also consider Carlos Rodgers, CB, Auburn at #9. I think he fits our defensive scheme very well. If we pass on a CB in the first round viable options in the third round are Eric Green, CB, VT and Corey Webster, CB, LSU.

I'd personally rather have Roscoe Parrish.

I like Roscoe Parrish but he is a virtual clone of Patten and Moss so I would like to see Roddy White but the chances of him falling to the 3rd are slim-to-none. With that said any WR with a little more size I would like to see us pick up in the 3rd (Brandon Jones) or Chris Henry (may have too much baggage but vey talented)

If Williams, Edwards, Rolle and Jones are all gone by our pick at #9, then we should trade down and try to get another pick in round 2 or 3. Then use our new #1 to pick the best available WR, CB or TE.

At first i didn't agree with trading down, but I think now we could trade down and still get what we want....we could get Vince Jackson, and a very good corner, like Marlin Jackson (provided his character issues are resolved in the interview) But we have all seen our share of Drafts....THEY NEVER PAN OUT AS PREDICTED, so we may have a chance to grab Braylon or Williams....none of us can tell

I would take Roscoe Parrish, I mean because if your from The U youre going to be good, but FatPat said we already have small downfield threats.
If we are going to get a WR in the draft, id rather draft a 6 ft. 1 or 6 ft. 2 big possesion guy.

I really like Roddy White out of UAB. He has some size, but I think he is mostly a deep threat. If we trade down he would be a good option in the late 1st.

THE NEWS
Titans' head coach Jeff Fisher acknowledged the connection between his offensive coordinator Norm Chow and former USC wide receiver Mike Williams. "He's excited about Mike Williams," Fisher told The Tennessean of Chow. "He thinks Mike can play in this league and so do I. We all know he's not a 4.25 (40-yard dash) guy. He's a ballplayer. As evaluators, we have to look at the 40 time. There are guys who run 4.5 and play 4.7, and there are guys who run 4.7 and play 4.5. Mike's a big man. He's got great body control. Mike plays faster than he times." The Titans hold the No. 6 overall pick in next month's draft.
OUR VIEW
Of course, Chow served as the offensive coordinator throughout Williams' career at USC. The Titans need wide receiver help, but not as much as they need help at other positions given their salary cap problems. Tennessee already has a pair of solid wideouts in Drew Bennett and Tyrone Calico. Meanwhile, the Titans has a glaring need at cornerback, which is why our first mock draft projects former West Virginia cornerback Adam Jones as the No. 6 overall pick.[/quote]
NO chance to pick up MWilliams. Titans, Vikings, Buccaneers.....no chance
