What´s all this about talking trash about Mexico and Mexican fans, I´ve showed for the last year how much I like the redskins and the kind of fan I am, on the site below the only thing people talked about is how poor of a country Mexico is, how fans are horrible, how awful Mexico is to play football, etc.
I don´t wan´t to make a big deal out of this but to all of you who wrote those things it seems you have no idea how Mexico is and how fans like me like our teams.

Today is March 18, seven months from now this game will be play on a Sunday Night, televised on ESPN, the game will be played in ¨Estadio Azteca¨ which has a capacity for 110,000 people, the second biggest in the world, so all of you who wrote those things you´ll be surprised how the people react to this game and how the stadium will be full.

I read the entire thread... I didn't read anything that said how poor of a country Mexico is, or read anything that said Mexican fans where horrible, or anything about how awful Mexico is to play football... I think your overreacting

If they said something derogatory, they're just speaking out of ignorance...and they don't speak for everyone....I, for one, think it's a great idea...(keep in mind, i haven't read any of the comments....i'm just going on the assumption that it was negative)

Either you posted the wrong link or I missed all of that.

Clinton Portis made a good point about the teams selected to play in the 1st game in Mexico. Being a NFL fan in Mexico what would the 1st NFL Match up would you want to see :?: You don't have to answer that but I'm willing to bet most fans wouldn't be thinking Niners/Cards

Everyone else was more or less posting about fans in Mexico of NFL teams.
Fans are Fans even if they are from Mexico and like that team from Texas.

Which team will be the home team? And will that team be refunding season ticket owner's money for the 1 less home game that team will play? It's one thing to play a preseason game in a foreign country, but quite another to play a regular season game there. I know a lot of 'Skins fans would be irate if one of our "home" games were to be played away from home.

If I could afford it right now, I'd go watch that game. It will be historic, despite the teams that are playing.

Arriba, México!

I didn't trash Mexicans at all The Ram.

Only thing I said was its dumb to have a match up between those two teams. Now the Raiders and the Cheifs in Mexico City would make alot more sense and would probaly sell more tickets.

Or Eagles/Skins
Or Cowboys/Giants
Or...

Any other matchup besides niners and cards.

There is a ton of match ups I'd rather see play. However being that the 49ers and the Cards are so close to Mexico, there maybe more fans cheering for them than you think. They probably get more 49ers & Cards games broadcast on T.V., so they would have a strong following. That being said who would you want to see…no one but your favourite (canadian spelling) team even if it is the 49ers or Cards

i bet the cards and 49ers fans are glad it is there... at least the game won't be blacked out that week...

I think the was a misunderstanding, when you said puke fans I thought you ment allmexicans fans were horrible but now I get you ment cowboys fans.
You`re absolutely right, mos t football fans here are cowboys or steelers, there are only very few skins fans and I`m proud to be one of them.

The game is going to be played on a sunday night, televised by ESPN, whoever wants to come you`re more than welcome, I have a box just in the middle of the field.

¨Saludos a todos¨

Mexico, like Canada, has fans for every conceivable NFL team. I will not be surprised anymore by a Falcons fan in Canada or a Vikings fan in Mexico.

One day there will be teams playing North and South of your border. Many of us are Skins for life though.

I think the cards are the home team. I would hope they refund the one game.

as for...

Personally, I think it would be awesome if the 'Skins played a "home" game in London, Ontario! (and oddly, London is rather well represented here!)
