Smart Move

The signing of Jeff Chandler was a smart move for the team, with Hall's nagging injuries the team needs stability in the kicking game. Hall is the better kicker with a longer range. Chandler will be a good insurance policy.

It also sends a sign to Hall that if he is not ready, the team is ready to move on with or without him.

I like Hall, but we need someone who is healthy and dependable in the kicking game.

Our kicking game has been a curse for years.
That is the one area we can't seem to improve on for very long.

Agreed, what good is Hall if he can't stay healthy.

Its funny we signed him, I was just watching the NFL network show that followed the Jaguars training camp. The guy couldn't make a field goal to save his life, and got cut.

I hope his kicking slump is over with us...he seemed to have it together last year, plus Ola Kimrin is way overseas.

Isn't there some disgruntled bench player for the uninted that could come and kick for us? lol...

Yup, I like to do my drinking before 10! -drinking

It gets to damn crowded downtown at 5:00, better to get drunk now... that way you won't mind the crowds so much when you hit the bars later!

:puke:

lol, seriously, I just made a typo... my bad, I'm glad MOST of you could figure out what I meant.

We tried to sign Lohmiller back, but when he came in for tryout his leg flew completely off his body. He's gotta be like 60 years old now.

DC United is our soccer team. Given that soccer players generally perform well as NFL kickers I think he is saying we should go get one of DC United's players to join the Skins.

Hmmm...looks like i've been drinking too much too...need to go to page 2 before I post...sheesh...

I'mnot sure Eskandarian will fit on a kicker's jersey though.

Sounds like a nasty injury, but how far did his leg fly? If he got it to the endzone, I say the job is his.

ROTFALMAO I don't know if it's sick or just sad that I can actually picture that.

You guys all beat me to the punch. Is Paddy's day a Stat Holiday ever where else, but in Canada because you guys were all over that fast. Right from the being of the thread I was think man Chip would be great. Just logged on way to late in the day, I guess.

Not a good idea. Soccer players spend all their time trying to kick the ball UNDER the crossbar. Would be too much to ask them to strt kicking it OVER the bar :) :)
