It's been a while, but I really enjoyed reading The Stand. Dolores Claiborne may be one of my favorite movie adaptations.

I'm also finishing up the Dark Tower series. Talk about addictive. I can't imagine the people who had to wait so many years between books. I was lucky enough to have picked up The Gunslinger just a couple years ago so I could just run to the bookstore for the next one the same week.

My friends and I are due to go back to Canada this summer, so I think I'm going to save the final book till then. No spoilers in post titles, please!

I am one of those people.

:thump:

All frustration aside though... it's just a phenomenal tale in it's entirety. I love to read, I read very quickly... as such, I have read a lot of books. It's not only my favorite SK book(s), it's my favorite book(s) by anyone.

I like Stephen King, too. I don't know if I have a favorite. If I did, it's probably "Dark Half".
I think the thing I like best about him is that these books translate into great movies, most of the time.
After a while, though...you start looking for Derry on the map. :)
You know, "places to avoid while travelling with the family".
