If you determined who did and did not get into the HOF, would you let Eddie George into the Hall of Fame?

I would considering he is a true power back who would of had a much longer career had he not of had to be the... Workhorse of the Titans. Steve McNair grew up handing off to, pitching to, dumping off to, throwing too, and getting blocks from Eddie George.

I think he deserves the HOF, even though I don't think he will have a chane.

Consider this...he has already hit the magic number of 10,000 yards.

Problem is he'd have the lowest average by far of HOF backs with that number.

George was the kind of back who got stronger as the game wore on...that was a big reason he floundered in Dallas; Tuna rarely gave him 15+ carries, if he even got to play at all.

Class act, great guy, solid guy to close out games. I think he'd have been a lot better if he didn't have that upright style of his, and just ran low like they teach running backs too.

Then again, the fact that he got this far running like that, especially as a power back, speaks volumes about just how talented he was.

No. He is decent, but not HOF material.

Eddie gave up on the Titans, who offered more money than he got in Dallas. He blew it - and should retire and pretend he never played for the folks with the big ugly star on their helmet.
