Does the elevator go all the way to the top...

I can't believe the things that are posted 500 times on this site, over anf over again. This site works like any other website out there is this far-reaching universe, there is a "SEARCH" option @ the top of the page, how come people do not use it? There are I believe 3 posts on the most recent that all include the words "I wasn't sure if anyone posted this yet," in the post of the creator of the topic. Well, how about before you say that, you use that little "SEARCH" option at the top of the page, to see the other 499 times it has been discussed. I don't post a lot here, I come here mostly to read the posts, but it gets ridichulous when you come here each day, and 1/2 the new posts are things that have been talked about already for a week or two. I feel for the moderators of this board b/c it is ridichulous that they have to continually post "links" in these new posts to look at posts from a couple days ago that cover the same topic... all which would have been avoided, and made their lives easier if you would just use that "SEARCH" option at the top of the page.
Maybe every user should have to take a test on the rules and policies of the board before they are allowed to post.

Yes, I did know there was already a topic about this, but... no one is going to search the topic to read about it, so I was hoping with the influx of newer members, as well as more vetrean members, they would take the time to read this post, and then maybe take the further time to read up on some of the other rules and policies.
