 good post...but the media has been wrong about a dozen times in the last 7 days

But this does not make sense to me...what has Samuels done to deserve this much?
Samuels' bonus exceeds the club-record $15.5 million linebacker LaVar Arrington received in his nine-year, $68 million contract signed in December 2003.

Is Snyder finally learning? I don't necessarily see this as a bad thing.

Dont play with my emotions. I surely hopeso. If he learns from his mistakes he'll be good in my book!!!! This almost seems too good to be true. Boss keeps saying not to jump the gun, but Im excited!! Im excited that we aren't signing the ENTIRE F/A POOL!

Although I am a huge fan of Snyder's, I think that he is too shrewd of a businessman to make the same stupid mistakes repeatedly. And now that Gibbs stresses continuity, I'm hoping that Snyder is just a little behind the curve in this area of learning.

The Baltimore Sun is reporting the deal could be done by Wednesday.

Casey Rabach, who started all 16 games at center last season, has decided to sign elsewhere, agent Tony Agnone said Tuesday. According to a league source, a deal will likely be struck with the Washington Redskins and could be announced as early as Wednesday, the first day unrestricted free agents can sign with another team.

You and I both! I'm definately for improvement in our running attack. Improvement there will definately open doors for our passing game.

now we don't have to focus so strongly on a Center in the draft...

I absolutely love this guy and if we draft a center like Jason Brown out of UNC, we can give the kid a few years to be a back up. Rabach is a smart player who won't dominate the LOS by himself, but will be a great captain on the o-line. Great news!!

This is a good thing several Raven fans I work with are not happy today.

It's not a rumor according to Rabach's uncle who is a member of this board:

If we didn't have 5 threads on Rabach... that might have been easier to ascertain.

Remember that Snynder ran his first business venture (some kind of national college newspaper) into the ground before starting all over and making millions with his marketing company. Clearly learned from his mistakes from the first go around.

So maybe we're starting to see him learning from his first few years as owner.
