Today started out horribly. It was my first day at the new job and the new boss had already given me permission to be late because of the snow. I felt like I couldn't let her down so I was bound and determined to get there. I got up early and got ready. Scott got Jackson up and was getting him ready as I was leaving. Unforunately he woke up not feeling too well. So when I was leaving all I heard was "Mommy, you're leaving me?? Please don't go" Scott finally got him distracted enough that I could go. So the drive was ok but long and messy. But my day turned around quickly. I went to the main office to train a little today and do all the paperwork stuff. Every single person I met there was great. Very outgoing. Alot of comedians. I had a blast, at work. Can you believe that? lol Tomorrow I meet the PO's who I'll be the assistant to. Turns out there are 7 of them not 4 like I thought. YIKES lol If they turn out to be anything like the bunch I met today I'll be so happy there. And I did call to check on Jackson several times today, he did great. Rough start this morning turned out good for all of us. Oh and Jackson has a best friend at school. His name is Jake.

Thanks guys. I forgot one funny thing his teacher shared with us. He feel asleep during quiet time and woke up upset. When they asked him why he said he had a bad dream. He told her he had a dream that the Ravens beat the Redskins. lol They are getting to know what Jackson is all about.

Thank you. It's been rough but Jackson's been helping me along with the finger paintings. I think I failed those 15 years ago.
Congrats Niki!

That is unreal.

Glad the day just kept getting better and better! And glad the people you'll be working with sound great -- that ALWAYS helps... to work with good people!
Poor Jackson and his bad dream.

Teacher probably thought that was an anomaly... she/he will learn soon enough!

Nah, they know the deal. His teacher said that he talked almost no-stop the first day, telling them everything he knew on every subject, but especially football.
He said that someone hit him with a plasic shovel yesterday. Guess it's time to teach him the Scott Steven's hip check

I mean, just kidding Niki
