He has Samari Rolle as the #1 player in the market and has us as the only team he might go to.
He has Fred Smoot #4 and lists Dallas, NY Giants, and Seattle as potential landing places. He has no mention of us.
He has Antonio Pierce rated near the bottom and has us and Minnesota as the top two candidates for his services.
He also has us pursuing some notables such as Plaxico Burress.

I think Len should write about The Top 32 Buffets instead of free-agency...he has no clue.
(But the Vikings for Pierce thing sounds legit, they have a ton of cap room and went after him last year)

I actually found the Vikings-Pierce connection to be very confusing. They just used their #2 2 years ago on E.J. Henderson. Then they got Napoleon Harris from the Raiders as part of the Moss deal. How many MLBs do they need???
Yeah I know Pierce can also play OLB but they have Dontarrious Thomas who they took high in last year's draft and Chris Claiborne on the outside. It seems like there would be other teams that would need Pierce a lot more.

LP has such an anti agenda with us that in my opinion I do not trust anything this retard puts out.
We keep getting "info" from this guy that is proven incorrect - why does anyone pay attention to what he is saying?
I'm sorry if he's a relative or anything but he just brings nothing to the table! Pardon the pun.

I'll take Baltimore center Casey Rabach
I thought the Ravens would have signed him by now. This is a guy that knows how to run block...and Portis would benefit.

He still has us going after Rolle? Dude, Fat Boy P - admit you're wrong.
I think we need to ban Lenny P articles on this site. They do nothing but piss most of us off with his nonsense... I'm all for freedom of the press but in this case - he's got to go!

... then where's the freedom?
I like Lenny's articles... they provide a very impartial view of everything.

There are alot of good players on the Market. I just hope we go for the Blue collar guys this time around.
I like Casey Rabach or Mike Wahle they would be key pickups.
I want the line to be in position to shift blame if all else fails.

I'd like to bring in Anthony Henry if Smooty doesnt get re-signed. I really dont feel like overpaying for someone like Samari Rolle, especially when new rules heavily favor wideouts. Henry's a ballhawk who can compete for the number 2 corner job with Walt Harris... As for Casey Rabach, I dont see him as too much of an upgrade over Corey Raymer. I definitely think we should draft a Center in the 3rd round, someone like LSU's Ben Wilkerson or if we can get a 2nd round pick and draft David Baas somehow.

Henry sounds great if Smoot leaves, and as for Rabach, he's a huge upgrade over Raymer, and would give the line more depth. Plus he's still young; however, the price needs to be right because an upgrade there is a luxury when we have so many needs. Besides the draft is deep at center.

I think we will see very different results from the line and the game plan this year.
Joe will make it happen and we will see a big difference from last year.

As someone who works with the developmentally disabled I find this comment insulting. Most of the people that I work with are far smarter than Lenny P.

I don't trust such an important position as Center to a rookie. Rabach took over for highly respected Flynn due to an injury, but once Flynn returned he didn't get the job back. I am so excited about getting Rabach and I'd also welcome a rookie to grrom behind him... Maybe Jason Brown from UNC. Baas is going to go too high unless we trade down from 9 and Wilkerson is coming off an injury.

I think Lenny P has a business relationship with some of the players' agents. Not to mention he hates Snyder. A few days ago he starts pushing that bogus story about the Skins already offering Rolle a 15 mil signing bonus. I think he was trying to inflate the asking price for Rolle and ruin the Skins negotiations with Smoot at the same time.
Yesterday, Kornheiser was interviewing Lenny and asked him, "who is the free agent you would most want on your team if you wee a GM" Lenny P answered Fred Smoot!!! Started talking about how the Redskins screwed up by not signing him earlier and that Smoot is great, blah, blah, blah I swear, I think he has an agenda to make Snyders life miserable!!!
He has Rolle #1 on his free agent board and starts spinning that B.S. about the Skins offering him 15 Mil. Then he starts hyping Smoot to try and drive his price up. He's evil!

yeah it's funny how nobody else considers Smoot a top FA, let alone CB, but Lenny is pushing him now(this is just recently) as if he's trying to improve Smoots stock so some team subconsiously(because of Fat Lenny's articles) decides to give Smoot a big deal and hence the redskins lose him...
I'm not sure Fat Len really is conspiring against us in that way, but it sure looks like it with all his past bashing on the Skins....

GM's may not take Pasquarelli's advice on which players to sign but I'm sure they take notice when he reports that a player has already been offered a 15 mil bonus. That sets the market value for a player.

They may take notice... but it certainly doesn't set the market value until a player signs a contract like that....

ESPN is garbage... The Rolle thing just proves that they can be bought and don't check or verify sources...
Just last week they got duped into running an article that Shaq was out for the rest of the season...
ESPN can keep their garbage and their top 10 crap.. Top 10 reasons ESPN is garbage:
they suck
they suck
they suck
they suck
they suck
they suck
they suck
they suck
they suck
and last but not least, they suck

Rolle is coming off that knee injury that cost him 11 games. That makes me nervous.
