Maurice Clarett or Rock Cartwright?
If Clarett is still available on the 2nd day of the draft would you want the Redskins to get him?
No question he was a talent in college, and it appears he got his act together and is in shape. The Vikings have done similar things the last few years and have a stocked backfield (Bennett, Smith, Moore).
Now the Vikings have trade bait, and the Skins could do the same in a couple years if Clarett were to pan out.

Yo Chad..thats why I specified "2nd Day"...I wouldn't touch him on the first day either....4th or 5th round would be tempting though.
The poll is regarding Cartwright. Give your thoughts.
Arghh! Its a tough choice.....Well finally I decided.
My curiousity won out. GIven the choice I would have to take Clarrett, but luckily its not really an either or thing. We could have both of them.
One of the reasons why Clarrett would be nice is because of his size.
I too was impressed/fooled by him candor and humility. But because of those statements I highly doubt that he will make it to the second day. BTW, I caught your second day comment I just wanted to specify that the fourth round is the earliest that I would take him given our needs. But if I was Miami or the Browns I would easily take him in the 3rd or maybe even the second if I felt good about him after an interview.

I think I'd take him too if he was there in the 4th or 5th...any team with a superstar like Portis would be ideal for Clarett...because he would come in and his ego would be checked at the door. He could sit back, practice, and learn from a productive pro.
If he were to walk into a situation like Arizona, Tampa, Miami, or Oakland then he'd think it was a cake walk. Whoever gets him better have a stud in place...otherwise the "old" Clarett may show up.

I don't know... 4th would be too early too in my opinion.... We'd probably be able to get some good O-Line or WR depth with that pick and we don't have a 5th... but I'd take him in the 6th if he's still around... he can play special teams for 2 or 3 years until he get's a shot...
