The free-agent signing period doesn't commence until March 2 but already one of the most coveted offensive playmakers is off the market.
Wide receiver Jerry Porter, a five-year veteran who would have been among the top unrestricted players at his position, has reached agreement on a multi-year contract extension that will keep him with the Oakland Raiders, ESPN.com has learned.

He had one or two breakout years and sort of vanished. This time it was before his contract came up.
I didn't want us to sign him in the first place but best of luck to him in OAK.

We WILL be getting M. Williams and turn him into a star. Then when we're done with him we'll ship him off to a bottom feeding team for more than he's worth! icon_twisted.gif
The way things are going around the league, I'm skeptical Williams even falls THAT farChris Luva Luva wrote:Primetime42 wrote:Are you saying Mike Williams is gonna be a bust?
Nope. Sorry, about being a bit vague. I'm saying that we need no more over paid, old, failures. We WILL be getting M. Williams and turn him into a star. Then when we're done with him we'll ship him off to a bottom feeding team for more than he's worth!

Besides, it's Danny Boy's NATURE to sign old vets at a ridiculously jacked price
