or here even.. :)

The free-agent signing period doesn't commence until March 2 but already one of the most coveted offensive playmakers is off the market.

Wide receiver Jerry Porter, a five-year veteran who would have been among the top unrestricted players at his position, has reached agreement on a multi-year contract extension that will keep him with the Oakland Raiders, ESPN.com has learned.

I'm glad he's off the market. My instincts tell me he's a risk.

He had one or two breakout years and sort of vanished. This time it was before his contract came up.

I didn't want us to sign him in the first place but best of luck to him in OAK.

We don't need anymore bust players to add to our growing list. We'll be fine with M. Williams.

Are you saying Mike Williams is gonna be a bust?

Nope. Sorry, about being a bit vague. I'm saying that we need no more over paid, old, failures. We WILL be getting M. Williams and turn him into a star. Then when we're done with him we'll ship him off to a bottom feeding team for more than he's worth!

If we want Williams we're going to have to move up to get him. I seriously doubt that he's going to be there when we pick ay #9.

The way things are going around the league, I'm skeptical Williams even falls THAT far

Besides, it's Danny Boy's NATURE to sign old vets at a ridiculously jacked price :)

Seems like we're on the same nature channel from the look of your last off-season. Just don't eat the pandas.
