He did "Baby You Can Drive My Car" first.
It's a Beatles standard.

Beep-Beep, Beep-Beep, YEAH !
Did you hear...Freddie had no idea who McCartney was, or "which band" he played in ?

I thought Paul did a great job last night. I really enjoyed it.

I took a power nap, he's before my time. It did seem to be nice, even though it didn't do anything for me. Its kind of hard to explain, I knew it was a good show though I didn't do anything for me.

Well, now...CLL
It ain't just kids watching the game, you know. I thought it was pretty cool to have somebody like McCartney on the grand stage, instead of Mike's sister and Justin Timberwolf or whatever his name is.
When you consider that that show did nothing for my age group, you can consider that this show was our revenge.
Hope you had a nice nap. I was singin' along !

I didn't dislike the performance, I thought it was alright and I knew it was better than how I received it, it just before my time. I'm glad that they got away from the MTV era, we can bring him back next year too.
Who is Mike's sister?
Justin Timberlake(wolf) put out a decent cd, but Id never watch him perform.
I thought Beyonce did a good job.

McCartney is well before my time, but I am a big classic rock fan. I thought it was a great performance. I gotta say wouldn't have minded hearing "Maybe I'm Amazed" but it was a good show.

McCartney did a great job. He sounded really good and was entertaining. Not bad for a 62 year old.

The best halftime show I've ever seen. Great visuals and pyrotechnics on top of an outstanding performance.
I usually don't even bother to watch...and missed the boob last year.

Here's a hint. In the eighties, Mike ruled the world wearing one white glove.

Beyonce can do a great job just standing there. Man, is she something.

Next year, we'll be listening to another group of octagenarians.
I believe they are called
The Rolling Stones.

Man, I hope not. I really don't like the Stones.

I couldn't agree more TC. I thought Paul did wonderfully though. Even Jackson enjoyed it until he sung Hey Jude, he turned to us and said "I like this guy but I don't like this song." So it wasn't just for the older crowd. The youngin's enjoyed it too.

Was the worst watered down show in NFL history. INMO
I would have rather seen monkey fights or something.

Midget wrestling while Live And Let Die plays. That would have been great.

I agree with those of you that thought it was a very good halftime show. At the end of it, I jumped up at the super bowl party I was attending (after cutting a whole in my "philly sucks" t-shirt) and ripped it open, exposing my nipple. I then, of course, claimed it was a costume malfunction. Gotta good laugh...but felt somewhat airy watching he 2nd half.

No you're thinking of "Hey Jude. Where's my Car", followed by "Sweeeeet, Judy Blue Eyes".

Give me McCartney over that saggy exposed teat last year
any day.
