Am I the only one who wants the Eagles to win?

I know they are the Redskins rival, but they are representing the NFC and the NFC East. If they do manage to win on Sunday, then the Giants, Redskins and even the Cowboys along with the Eagles will be part of the greatest NFL division. The NFC East will be the first and only division with all of its teams with Superbowl wins.

i live in philly... if you lived here and had to be around the fans that belive the eagles invented the game then you would want them to lose just as much as myself. i have no ill will towards the eagles, i think mcnugget is a heck of a QB but it's the fans man!

I am a diehard Redskins fan and will never abandon them no matter their record, but the Patroits are my second most hated team, nothing can get higher than the Cowboys. Anyway, the Eagles winning would set history and would silent the ESPN-Tom Brady **** sucking for a while. I am sick and tired of how ESPN finds way to put Tom Brady into almost all of their discussions about football, even if they are talking about different teams. I deal with enough of the Eagles hyping and fans appearing out of nowhere, if you survived the Dallas "American Team" era, you can survive one Superbowl victory by Philly, plus Philly knows how to put up a good riot come win or lose.

tom brady until recently was heavily underrated. did you watch that game against the steelers? he was awesome and all he does is win. your opinion is your opinion but the patriots and brady deserve all the accolades they get. also, is they win another superbowl. you are looking at brady being a top 10 QB of all time before the age of 30.

How can you call someone with two Super Bowl MVPs to his name "underrated"? Don't just come on here and regurgitate what you hear/read on sports shows -- those guys are just talking to hear their own voices.

Typo, I'm guessing? Not really sure what you are going for here.

You guys are too sensitive. I'm telling ya, if I catch you guys parading around in your birthday suits in the woods and getting in touch with your femenine sides I'm going to call each and every one of your wives and tell them what little girls you guys are.

I will always go with the team that is not self centered. The team that doesn't flap off at the jaws about the other teams so called weakness. The team that acts like a pro nfl team. The team that doesnt have players who think they are bigger than the team.I dont see any of this in the pats and I guess thats why there the two time champs.

what i meant by underrated was that brady doesnt get a whole lot of hype as being a top qb in the league. i understand that he does get attention but all we heard this year was what a great job rothlesberger (spelling) and manning are doing, as well as mcnabb. but through it all brady defeats the colts and then kills the steelers. thats all i meant. and i did mean "if" brady wins another SB.

my father is of this philosophy too, "if we lose, you root for the other teams in your division". i understand the idea in principle, but i could never stomach it. to me, it is a requirement to absolutely hate the guts out of the other teams in your division-- especially the good ones!
i want the eagles to get ripped apart and absolutely HUMILIATED. i want it to be one of those games where it is OVER by the end of the first quarter and only keeps getting worse. i want the final score to be at least 42-13. i want them to fumble, throw picks, give up big TDs, and get FGs blocked. i want them to be so utterly embarassed and crushed that they cry, they just cry for days. i want them to be so devastated that they give up on ever trying to really win again and are terrible next year.
in conclusion, DIE EAGLES DIE!!!

Dude, pHOK the Iggles. Y the hell would u want that team to win. I hope they get owned. And Owens is gonna play?? What a fudgin' dumbass!! Watch him rebrake that leg, jus watch. Patriots got this one all the way. No Doubt!! Like I said earlier it's the worst feeling to lose at the superbowl. It's gonna be sad when the Iggles fly home after losing.

, but hey maybe next year they'll win a Lombardi.

Yep. You're the only one.
I don't hate the eagles. It's just their fair weather fans, that I can't stand. Last year there were articles in the newspaper saying to bench Mcnabb.
Now all of a sudden, since he is winning, he's there savior again.
I know Eagle fans that jumped off the Bandwagon, and said that they were never really Eagle fans to begin with, when they lost t.o.
Now all of a sudden they are back.
And at the stadium, one bad play, and they boo, and start to leave.
And what kind of people boo Santa Clause.
And the way they run their mouths make me sick.
If they win the super bowl they have the right to talk trash the rest of their lives.
If you want to win, it's just like saying you want to listen to them, and I'm sure almost everybody, doesn't want that.

Please, how does one Superbowl ring in their franchise history measure up to 3 Superbowl rings. Sure they have been winning alot of games lately, but teams never stay at the top. The Redskins is better than the Eagles franchise, in fact the Redskins franchise is the fourth best, only behind the Packers, Bears and the Giants. Those immature and fairweather fans dont get to me, they can talk all they want, but what have the Eagles really accomplished? One Superbowl win in how many franchise years?

i hope the game comes down to one last drive by the eagles.
i hope donovan throws it deep to a wide open freddie mitchell...
and i hope it goes right through his hands to end the game

I do not -really- mean to get you in trouble BUT...
How did you arrive at this profoundly thoughtful conclusion?
1. The fans?
2. Super Bowl wins?
3. Head-to-head record?
4. Tradition?
Please be kind enough to educate me if you might...

I think he's going by tradition...but even if he is, that list is crap.

I agree how does he come to that idea?I sometimes say things with out thinking, but that one is really off.The packers maybe but the bears and giants? How many total super bowls have they one? What about the fourty niners and the steelers?I think if you count the skins championships, before there were superbowls then it would be like this.Redskins all time number#1,fourty-niners#2,steelers#3.packers#4

The Pack have a total of 12 World Championships.
You know we have the 5 SBs
