It's Here!

Well, after waiting a long and tortuous month, my Christmas present (to myself) finally was delivered today. It was actually warm enough outside for me to go pick it up and ride it home; however, with the snow everywhere, I felt it would be safer just to have them deliver it.
My "present" sitting in front of my house after arrival. (It is now covered up to protect it from the elements.)
Just in case anyone had any doubts about the type of person riding the bike.

Is that a special motorcycle license plate frame, or are DE bike plates the same size as car plates?
Oh yeah, congratulations. Have you named 'er yet?

Oh well nice bike anyways.
Is she comfortable?
Hey are you going to ride it to "Biker week" in Mrytle Beach?

It is very comfortable. I had them upgrade the seat to a more padded seat with higher back support. (Not that my self-padding isn't enough.)
Not sure which road trips I'm gonna take this year. I may take it easy this year and just focus on learning how to ride the darn thing again. (It's been many many moons since I last owned a bike.)
Maybe next year, I venture out on some long road trips.
Just so y'all know, it's a 2005 Night Train. The fact that it's all blacked out (unlike other Harleys which are all chromed out) will save me tons of time cleaning and buffing!

Where can I get a Skins plate frame? I'd like to have one for football season, and use my Type-S frame for the summer.

How about Daniel or Danny Boy.
When I think aobut it, thats what I should have named my car. It was kind of expensive, it breaks all the time, and has been disapointing.

Well my bike was a little late, but it finally came too!
... and it's soooo shiny.
I didn't ride it home... I don't want to get it dirty just yet. I paid extra for the Redskin alloy mag wheels and gold spoking but the coolest part of the bike (that you can't see) is that it barks 'Parcells Swallows' when you hit the horn.
Meep Meep.
I have to take it back in next week to have the nitrous kit fitted (she'll blow about 8 hp when i'm done) That's more than my riding mower!!!
I call her 'Mid-life crisis'.
