The Pats are simply destroying the Steelers, and making it look like a walk in the park.
I though Big Ben was the Next Big Thing. I won't buy any of this "He's a rookie" nonsense, either. He is unbeaten to this point.

Well, the fact is, he is a rookie, and he is excellent in regular season games, but its not easy to duplicate the composure that Tom Brady possesses in these type of games. I think that "Big Ben" is a great QB and he's a great find by the Steelers, but he is a rookie, and in this game, he has been making rookie mistakes. He may not have played like a rookie during the season, but in the playoffs people tend to force things that they wouldn't normally do, especially when they are down by three touchdowns (as the Steelers are now). Again, the Patriots DEFENSE is proving why they have become the team that they have become. I have a lot of respect for the Patriots and their organization. I have kinda felt all season like the Steelers are a bit overrated, and last week against the Jets, I felt like "Big Ben" made a lot of rookie mistakes (which is usually what happens to rookie QB's in big games), but he is an excellent QB who will probably take the Steelers to the Super Bowl sometime within the next couple of years, but not this year.

I don't buy the "Ben is a rookie talk", Brady was a rookie when he did it.

Yeah Tom Brady was a rookie, but IMO, it doesn't happen often that you get a rookie QB who has as much calm and composure in big games. Bill Cowher said himself that last week Ben got real anxious when they were playing the Jets, and again, today against the Patriots, during halftime Cowher AGAIN said that he really tried to calm Ben down. I'm not saying that it is IMPOSSIBLE for a rookie, obviously Tom Brady did it, but he is NOT your run of the mill QB. I think that Tom Brady is VASTLY underrated for someone who is as young as he is and about to take his team to their third super bowl appearance, thats amazing for a young QB to have such a presence in big games and to be able to control the game with such smart plays.

I don't want to say that Ben is overrated, because what he did during the regular season has been great. But Tom Brady has been great past just the regular season, into the playoffs and in the Super Bowl. With all that is been made about Roethlisburger, he has yet to impress me in a big game in any way, shape, or form.

For future reference, I didn't consider Tom Brady a rookie. He sat on the sideline his first year, learning the system, becoming a better QB through practice. (Gee, what QB do I know that fits that description?) No one thought he'd upstage the "Great" Drew Bledsoe. Guess Mo Lewis should get a ring from these guys as a way of saying thanks.
