5 things i think so far in 2005

1) would marty schott want WR gardner? he drafted him in 2001. with keenan getting up there in age, wouldnt gardner be a good fit for their wide open offense? how about a 3rd rounder for him?

2) if that doesnt work, how about gardner, mccants and our #1 pick for moss? or how about smoot and gardner for moss? vikes still need another CB opposite winfield. if a guy like moss is seriously available, you have to try and get him. i think he needs a new change of scenary and if anyone can control him, coach gibbs can. he controlled riggo. how many of you would love to see tough grown men like tuna and coughlin cry if that came true! and you KNOW they would be bawling their eyes out! no more 8 in the box to stop CP.

3) i think garnell wilds can play. va tech is just as legit as any other school out there and so frank beamer did not recruit a scrub. he got hurt twice in college or he could have easily been a high draft pick. i say let gregg and the other D coaches coach him up. who knows, maybe even rufus brown can play too. again, florida st dont recruit no scrubs either.

4) would it be fun to play a 4-4-3 next yr as our base defense?! has that ever been done? marcus and lavar on the outside, barrow and AP inside, springs, harris, and taylor in the secondary. teams would be averaging less than 2 yards per rush!

5) expect good things next yr with our schedule. who knows what the hawks will look like with all their UFAs. niners got new sheriff in town who SUCKED while he was here! rams could be in total chaos if they start off losing. 'zona is still 'zona. the afc west is weak in my opinion too. throw in the bears and their horrible offense, and the bucs and their old defense, and things are looking pretty bright from my perspective!

Well, we've gotta leave room for Bowen, and truthfully I'd rather have Bowen in there than Barrow at this point. He can be a hitter when he needs to be---we've got yet to see Barrow play a single down. My intuition tells me that we never will see him play one.

Despite our record, I feel that this past season was good to us in terms of the difficulty of our schedule. I've looked over next year's, and it's just about as encouraging. Having an easier schedule is just one more thing that will facilitate our team as it forms under Gibbs.

Well if Smoot & Gardner are going to leave anyway, then it ain't so bad, it's kinda just like a #1 then.

We don't want Moss, he's not worth it.

A 4-4-3 D has been done, on likely running plays, however the D can be exposed to a pass for a big gainer.

No, I did not. One's man view is one man's view. BTP is not a mod. But it is sufficient to me that some people feel that it is counterproductive to try to stay away from any unnecessary controversy. It is not worth it.

My signature does a nice job.
