I remember that game like it was last years hof game. I dont remember the jubilation of that 2nd quarter much but I sure remember the fear of being down 10-0 and having everything go wrong. Watching that makes me realize how bad we have sucked in the last ten years and that is worth shedding some tears and possibly some alcoholic beverages. Our future so bright I think I gotta wear shades Cool

Jubilation!!!

What a great video. Just to see those players, those faces, again.

This week, I'm pulling out my tape of SB 22, and I'll enjoy that quarter again.

Dan Dierdorf and Al Michaels, mocking the Redskins early in the game: "The Redskins held the Broncos to three points on that drive...they're improving...We've just received word that the Redskins are changing to longer cleats...sure, <dripping sarcasm>, that'll help".

And Dierdorf, at the end of the half: "My jaw is sitting on my chest..."

I got kicked out of my parents room after the 10-0 score cuz my mom said i was bad luck. She was putting vodoo spells on the recievers by crossing them out on the tv. Hey, no complaints from me, seems like it worked! God all i want for christmas is Super Bowl EXTRA LARGE! then you can give me another 10 year drought

me too. 10 yrs old, when gi joe was more important than watching football on tv. but my dad told me earlier in the day that we were going to watch the redskins stomp the broncos over dinner that night. started off a little rough, but ultimatley, a redskin fan was born. been here ever since. :)

That was the best 15 minutes of football that the Redskins have ever played in the history of the team!

Man, it must have been awesome to actually see the Redskins win!

lol, I only started following football when I was about in 3rd grade, (1993, 1994) after the glory years were gone... I have never really seen the Redskins have any type of success :(

Hopefully with a talented offensive cast (Ramsey, Portis, Cooley, Coles and Williams =P~ ) we will be able to put together a strong season in 2005.

That was my first SuperBowl and I watched it with my Dad (RIP) a huge diehard Redskins fan. That is one of the reasons I am getting the Mitchell & Ness Doug Williams Throwback jersey. I want those days to come back.

I remember that game all too well and where I was at.

35 yard line... behind the redskins bench about 25 Rows from the field. I remember it being overwhelmingly orange in that stadium and not very hospitable in the first few minutes. Then, I was on my feet cheering on the boys and getting nasty looks from everyone around me. I also remember them practicing the deep timing pass to Sanders along the sideline (One of Gibbs "signature" plays) before the game. Oh those days... We'll see them again.

1) I don't remember this thread nor any of the other 3 threads you've posted this in being about Art Monk? :hmm:

2) This is the 3rd time I've seen this exact same post because "Bare with me mods" is wrong in all three... clicking on this over and over again gets annoying...

3) Brown nosing is frowned upon....

4) If you have something to say over, and over, and over again... put it in your signiture... that's what it is for...

Thank you and have a nice day....

agreed.
and RIC, we'll bend the rules for this special occasion, and allow you to put the link to the thread in you sig as well. ;)

does that meet the criteria of "bearing with ya"?
